The Abramson guy who just got in last month or so is a super pro-life guy which doesn't fly in The Party anymore.

You don't have to actually do anything like the real parties, Adam Kokesh is the only one actually spending money and he's spent $182,000 over his five year long bid. A lot of which I think has to do with his "media empire" more than actual traditional campaign type spending.

Some states have set the age too high, and are prosecuting people unjustly 3.Some ages have set the age too low, and are failing to protect kids 4.Human nature somehow varies from one state to another."[7][8] The Libertarian Youth Caucus called for Vohra's resignation.[9] Multiple state Libertarian Party chapters demanded Vohra be relieved from his position, including the Libertarian Parties of Alaska, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.[8] When asked if he personally would have sex with a 14-year-old, Vohra responded, "Probably not, but that's not the point. My personal life choices are mine, and I don't believe in forcing them on others."[10]

On February 2, 2018, members of the LNC voted on whether or not to suspend Vohra from his position. The vote failed a two-thirds majority, and in response, prominent Libertarian activist Larry Sharpe resigned from his position in the Committee as Region 8 Alternate.[11]

In April 2018, a new motion to suspend Vohra was brought to the LNC, prompted by new comments by Vohra: "Bad idea: school shootings. Good idea: school board shootings." Vohra dismissed the comments as a joke, and apologized on Facebook.[13][14] The motion failed in a deciding vote by Nicholas Sarwark.[15]

In June 2018, he drew criticism for appearing on the podcast of far-right anarchist and white nationalist Christopher Cantwell. In defense of this appearance, Vohra stated; "I'll take a racist who opposes government schools over a public school teacher who endorses them any day. If I have to pick between racism and welfarism, I'll pick racism in a second."[16]

On July 3, 2018, Vohra lost his re-election bid to be vice-chair of the LP to Alex Merced. However, on the same day, he announced that he will seek the Libertarian Party's nomination for president in 2020.[17][18]

Cantwell was a member of Free Keene, a voluntaryist protest group associated with the Free State Project. He and some other members objected to some actions of the government of Keene, New Hampshire which they considered to be examples of government over-involvement, such as issuing parking tickets. They filmed themselves harassing parking enforcement officers and paying parking meters ahead of the officers, and uploaded many of their clips to YouTube. In 2014, Cantwell was one of three members of this "Free Keene Squad" who were featured in a mocking segment on The Colbert Report which documented their activities, lampooning them as "brave patriots [who] are fighting back… against government overreach" by harassing meter maids.[25][49]

On April 9, 2019, Cantwell published a blog post announcing that he had been "neglecting to deal with some serious personal problems for a very long time", and that he needed to "stop, avoid recording devices, and pull [himself] together."[50][51] Cantwell told the Southern Poverty Law Center that he had decided to step away from broadcasting because "'Jews' had taken an 'emotional toll' on him."[50]

Cantwell has described himself as a member of the alt-right, a fascist, and a libertarian.

By Cantwell's own account, he was originally "radicalized" to libertarianism in 2009 after listening to a presentation by former Libertarian presidential candidate Michael Badnarik.[67] In 2009 he announced he would be running as a Libertarian Party candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in New York's 1st District, but he did not collect enough signatures to get on the ballot.[27] He has been repeatedly kicked out of libertarian organizations for his violent and racist views.[25]

Cantwell has held strong anti-police views, including advocating for violence against police officers. In a June 2012 Facebook post about police hypothetically attempting to pull over a driver, he said, "It is my honest opinion that this driver would be morally justified in shooting that police officer at the moment the [police car's] lights go on." He was later removed from the Free State Project and banned from their events for this and other statements the group found to violate the libertarian non-aggression principle. Cantwell has posted photographs of himself dressed as a police officer who had been shot in the forehead for a 2014 Halloween party, and later that year he applauded the man who killed two police officers in New York City.

Although Cantwell endorsed Donald Trump for president in January 2016,[71] he has said that he hoped for a leader who was "a lot more racist than Donald Trump" and who "does not give his daughter to a Jew" (referring to Ivanka Trump's marriage to Jared Kushner).[72]

Mary Ruwart was on path to defeat Bob Barr and Wayne Allen Root (both of whom have fled back to the GOP after claiming they had seen the light due to Bush, only to be saved by Romney and Trump) because both were not trusted, especially Barr being a pro-drug war/pro-every war/etc. Republican just two years earlier. They managed to derail her campaign (though they still had to unite at the convention) by pulling up an answer she gave:

The party's executive director, Shane Cory, saw the danger as well, and rushed out a press release titled, "Libertarians call for increased communication to combat child pornography." I just re-read Bob Barr’s “Issues” page. Nowhere does Bob Barr deny the right to shove a bag of Doritos up his own ass. When is someone going to clarify Bob Barr’s position on Doritos, and their proper place in America and what the boundaries are? Everybody, please don’t let Sean Hannity find out about this.

The firebrand attorney Michael Avenatti is back considering a run for the Democratic nomination for president after he declared last year he wouldn’t take part in the contest.

Avenatti, who in the past represented porn star Stormy Daniels against the likes of President Donald Trump and his then fixer Michael Cohen, told CNBC late on Friday that he is yet again contemplating entering the expansive 2020 arena.

“Never say never,” he said when asked if he’s going to get into the race. “The Dems need a non-traditional fighter. They have a lot of talent but not a lot of fighters.” He later noted that the odds of him getting into the race are at 50/50 and he could make his decision in a few months.
