I really want to know what Bernie bros are thinking. This dude lost to Hillary. Hillary lost to Trump.

So yea, I don't think any of these clowns are beating Trump. Biden's deteriorating mental facilities will doom us all. He was our best shot. I didn't watch the debate but saw some people say he didn't do too bad...I guess that's improvement right.

You know who would've been the perfect Dem candidate this year? 2004 John Kerry.

Nothing but respect for Kerry who spent 3 to 4 years of his life preventing the third world war after Hillary tried to blow us all to pieces by stepping on Russia's dick because they disrespected her reset button.

By the way, has there ever been any scientific research into what's wrong with the brains of republicans?
The way they twist and deny reality seems pathological at this point.

Republicans stay on message creating a comfy place. That's how they ultimately win.
Democrats always lose focus somewhere along the way getting caught up in facts and conflict.

It was kinda hilarious when the Republicans attempted soul searching after the Romney election and pretty much concluded that they couldn't.  :lol
Their bullshit line of that week (I think it was hammering on Obama's "You didn't built that" line) just didn't work.

"Make America Great Again" was a stroke of genius, much like "Get Brexit Done". You can pretty much fill in for yourself what 'Great' or getting 'it Done' entails.
"Keep America Great" in that regard is a terrible line. Because you assume that the audience already thinks "things are great" and they likely don't feel that way and it doesn't create a desire or urgency to get into action.
In fact, I believe Hillary used the "America is already great" line often as well as "Stronger Together", which again is a terrible slogan because anyone who has ever done a group assignment knows that not everyone is making you stronger.
Sometimes you feel you're better off doing things on your own.

Same with Corbyn's "For the many not the few". Most people consider themselves exceptional and would more likely consider themselves to be the "few geniuses" that wanted to remain vs. "the many" that wanted to leave.

The weird thing is that we're literally at a point that the only protest against Trump is that he's a vulgar asshole that they don't like.

$700+ billion for the army, wall and S P A C E F O R C E ?
Not a problem Mr. President.  8)

Even CNN is praising the Trump economy. They just want it without Trump.

So the NYT's The Daily podcast has been hosting a series on the top four Democratic Candidates.

Friday's episode covered Joe Biden.

The entirety of the episode covers Joe's penchant and history for reaching across the aisle.  It later goes into Biden's history on tough crime and the drug war, concluding with his involvement in the 1994 Crime Bill. But then it finally resolves the abject failure and legacy Biden has left, but quickly concludes - to great frustration - this his bipartisanship was more important. Minutes after telling audiences Joe's career highlights devastated minority neighborhoods and communities, that it was completely not of consequence and that we should focus on how these failed legislations Joe had a hand in came about - reaching across the aisle, bipartisanship. Don't concentrate on the failures, but the peace and love that birthed them was the message.

I've never seen such blatant cock stroking for centrism in my life.

After the podcast they aired soundbites of the news and the Republicans having shit fits about Pelosi holding the Senate trial back quoting Lindsey Graham and how Pelosi's decision was "political extortion."

Yes, these are the people we should make up and hold hands with.

What utter buffoonery. I was so mad I almost threw my phone out of my car.

TLDR: Curly and others on the left are right about centrists. Y'all seem to be right about all of it in fact.

I think the dementia thing is just not taking into account he's high af most of the time all the time or drunk or maybe both.

With Joe the symptoms seem way more obvious when he's losing his train of thought and occasionally crashing and falling silent.
Dementia commonly does not make you do whatever the fuck this is

Carrie Fisher guessed coke, based on her own experience. Considering powder has leaked out of his nose in the past and there were rumors he was snorting up boxes of Sudafed it's not strange to think that someone
hooked the 70+ year old President up with something better. Remember that the White House also rolls out drunk af Larry Kudlow with no shame whatsoever to talk about the great economy.

Re: Biden podcast. On each show the candidates interview and and they go over pivotal moments in their careers. Joe didn't show up and was the only candidate to decline for his interview and had an NYT National Politics writer talk in his stead. This is the person that basically went,"yeah his legislation was bad but bipartisanship, guys!" Their coverage of the candidates was good so I was blindsided by how they tried to sell people on the idea that bipartisanship > everything else.

2) the right answer to Trumpism is to work with Republicans more.
