And the people bowed and prayed
To the orange god they made
And Pennsylvania flashed out its counting
In the words that it was tightening
And Fox News said, "The votes of Arizona are counted on the holo walls
And county halls"
And whispered in the sounds of silence

I'm not saying they're not going to be right, but isn't there still 5% left?

Biden's lead will only increase, they're almost all from Philly.

True but Biden hasn't "won-won" until it's impossible for Trump to win even if gets 100% of the remaining votes right? That's when it's "officially" called.

It's officially called when the state finishes the count. But there's no path left for Trump so it's over.

tbh it would be better for the fuckery to continue as long as possible to take up all of trump's time until biden takes over

once he definitively knows he's out that's when he can start smuggling antiquities out of the white house, get in some last minute deals and pardons, piss on the rugs etc.

Trump is apparently looking to fire Secretary of Defense and CIA director.  This seems troubling especially if he installs a lacky to help him continue to contest election results.

lmao Joe beat him from his basement. The season finale sure took us by surprise.

But I have a feeling that hell or highway there will be another Trump on the ballot in 2024.
He actually made gains compared to 2016 and they're all convinced the only reason he lost was the mail-in ballots this probably won't be an issue when the situation regarding COVID-19 is resolved.

Honestly at this point I hope he keeps going. I don't think this can do anything except harm the Republican party.

or everybody who voted mail or absentee this time realizes hey this is actually way easier than standing in line for hours and turnout among those methods remains high

Poetic justice that Trump won the Presidency because the Republicans are spineless cowards and now lost it because they are spineless cowards.

Lol, now Pelosi wants Trump and the Republicans to come back to the table for Stimulus.

Because of the small margins likely recounts in GA and PA

I don't see what Biden has to gain by not claiming victory in the next few hours. Maybe the strategy is to let Trump spin out more and more? I guess a few more days of nonsense is nothing after 5.5 years

Is shosta preventing the Alaska senate race from being called?

I wanted to put a huge bet online for Florida (for Trump) once I saw that registered Republicans had a bigger share of early votes than they did in 2016. If they had a bigger share of early votes AND they were expected to more likely vote on election day, I didn't think it would matter if independents broke for Biden (how much of a change could there be). I didn't buy the logic that a bigger percentage of Republicans would vote for Biden as that would surely have depressed Republican turnout (Trump won 93% vs 89% in '16).

The form includes a field where people could upload video or picture evidence of irregularities, which could serve to bolster the Trump campaign’s repeated, baseless assertions about fraud, but it’s not actually possible to upload anything.

Back of the napkin math: he would need 67% of the remaining 44% vote. I don't think that's plausible in Alaska.

Arizona has a long history of voting in mail. In mail voting has traditionally favored republicans because the olds like to mail in vote and avoid the long lines. Biden still the favorite but you can't assume.

I like how the GOP spend decades to set-up this system of election day voting suppression by making it harder to vote in person as their old base and rural counties would just vote by mail.

Then Donald Trump came in and decided he would win this by popular vote with an unprecedented turn-out on election day instead.  :lol
