I only message my matches after I get home from work and have dinner.

4 to 5 hours is my personal minimum amount of time I let pass after a match. And if I'm super busy I don't usually respond until the next day after 5pm. And I wouldn't go longer than 48 hours.

Also, I'm more of a fan of getting matches near the beginning of the week than around Friday because typically the girls I match with already have plans by the time Thursday or Friday rolls around. Holidays can throw a monkey wrench into planning things as well.

Yeah that reminds me of a convo I had with some women that were on the chubbier side that were talking about how they wouldn't date a guy less than 6 foot tall and that was OK because some guys wouldn't date overweight women. I pointed out that if a woman wanted she could lose weight via diet and exercise but there's really not much a guy can do to change his height. They didn't much care for that.

As someone who's always been on the tallish side (71.5 inches exactly) and thinks height shaming is foolish, I wonder why none of the shorter dudes created an extension or app that filters out profiles with a height requirement..

Eventually, a few decades from now, when a minority of families have freakishly tall and short and chubby and skinny children who can't share any clothes and loathe their outlier body image, society will know the parents pride is what destroyed the family.

yeah, good luck with that. It will get worse as you get older. My sister in law was/is very religious and in her mid 30s and she was having a hard time finding a guy even in insanely mormon Utah that she felt wasn't into sex before marriage. She couldn't understand it. Wife and I had to explain that by that age, most guys have been around the block and aren't going to put up with what they view as prudish behavior.

It's going to be hard either way. Most dudes do not want to date, much less marry, a trans woman in the first place. Might as well stick to what you believe in or go home. Much better that way, especially when you're tasked with being an ambassador of sorts and many people think you are loose and incapable of staying in one relationship. "They all have sex with each other." In order to prove LGBT as equal and that being LGBT is not in itself inherently sinful you must show that are capable of being equal or better.

Created a Tinder just to see what there is to see on that app.

There's some decent women in the area.

But a lot of them are typical high-class stuck-up valley girls it seems.

Trying to get "men, women" to stick on Tinder is like pulling teeth. Apparently they hate you making changes from their default settings. Or my phone just hates Tinder. Either or.

Edit: Five minutes in and I already see why women are swarmed with messages while guys probably aren't. Half these men can't take a decent profile photo to save themselves (says a person that is using a bad photo intentionally just to swipe and look)
