4 probably was more personal. On average its side s-links might have been a little better too. I don't think any of the side stuff in P5 has hit as hard as when I befriended that super old woman in P4 and realized she was the "Death" arcana.

I ranked the politician dude all the way up since he doesn't bullshit you around. One meeting, one s-link level. None of that "I feel our relationship may get stronger soon" nonsense. Kind of a cool side story. It's not up there with the best side s-links in 3 or 4, but I liked it. I miss the heavenly music you'd get in P4 when you maxed out an s-link though.

Makoto gets way better, IMO. To the point that I believe she's canonically the MC's love interest like Chie and Mitsuru were.

Anyway, finally running through the third dungeon at 6/29. Cutting it close.  Ran out of money so have to sell some treasures to do S. Link stuff.

Speaking of which, fucked up a choice on the Devil, so I need to level up and get massive money in this dungeon run on the third dungeon later today for future S. Links and fusing a Devil Personae (since they're lowest level 32 apparently) while ranking up this Onmoraki with Gallows Fusions to see if I can get that money confusion trick to work. Otherwise it's hold-ups->gimme more!s to do for cash.

The third dungeon has a shadow that has no weakness and is highly resistant to guns and ammo. This... will be tough. I just got wiped by it and like high-pixies healing each other. :'(

I only had one SP 3 on the MC and didn't buy it until my second attempt so I didn't have it for the first half of the palace, unfortunately. The doctor was still pricey at that point.

I have 3 SP7s now post-palace. It was the first thing I dropped money on once I leveled up Tae.

Honestly, once I got my head around killing their healers/High Pixies, it wasn't that bad. Especially since a group of 3 High Pixies basically Dormina'd my entire party to full health and SP to continue to grind.

So I've got like 250,000Ą. 100,000 of which goes to a S. Link in a few days, the rest I can spend on SP regen items or save for S. Links. I'll probably hold off until I take his heart on getting the SP regen items just to make sure I'm not hitting poor. But I'm going to trade Edgy Potter's Invigorate 1 SP Regen item in for the Invigorate 3 one so I don't have to (*knock on wood*) worry about SP problems using him like the P3/P4 protagonists via switching Personae like it's going out of style in battles to one-more everything possible.

Confusing the mid-bosses like

in the main dungeons works wonders. You don't have to go to Momentos like that "guide"/video says to do. You can confuse some of the mid-bosses in the story dungeons. The problem is grinding the cash to resummon the Persaonae you're using for this up in Luck with the resummoning it (to reset cooldowns) and summoning the treasures to Luck EXP buff it.

My party has been since starting: Yusuke, Ann, and Makoto since the later two are healers and Makoto is Nuclear element damage (and has a all Nuclear hit skill that I didn't have for a while). I subbed Yusuke and Makoto out for Ryuji and Morgana for the

In an attempt to cover up the game's undercooked deadline and calendar system, Futaba is going to sleep until the deadline comes if you finish the palace early. Mind you, this palace has the longest deadline in the game so far (21 days). For me, she's basically going to sleep for 14 days straight and that's alright because reasons

Anyway, finished the third dungeon. at that end boss. Choose Morgana's item selection and that seemed to stop the onslaught of 200 damage even while guarding. Makoto and Morgana healing wasn't enough. Yusuke doing that Heavy solo HP attack.

3rd palace persona awakening was DOOOOOOPE AS HELLLLLLLLL. Probably one of the coolest scenes so far in the game, other than maybe the MC's persona awakening. And the persona itself is so ridiculous, but also amazing.

Also, Mishima is the worst. My joy fades every single time when I check my phone and he's sent me a new IM. Go home and be a family man, bruh.

In the continuing Saga of figuring this out so I don't have to worry about cash for the rest of the game ( ): Ground Jack Frost boss for like 15-30 mins and got around 400,000 before I got tired of him not tossing cash or doing anything besides "IS CONFUSED!!!" so I leveled up Sandman some more. Eventually when you reach a certain level range, the treasure Personas/shadows/whatever you wanna call them stop leveling your stats. So uh... make sure your stats are yellow'd on the Gallow's/level-up fusion because if they aren't, you're just getting experience and wasting time/cash on it.

Speaking of which, you can only Gallows ONCE per Persona apparently. So you have to either fuse (after registering it) the one you want to continue to level up, or register and dismiss and resummon it back with the treasures. Tedious but...

I'll go down Mementos a bit further in a little bit and see how much the next one gives me since I can't level up Sandman any further with Queen's Necklace personas.

Nothing, really. I mean you can use his sleep skills. But I'm (and the video) using him as a cheap/"early game" (well mid-game for me right now since I'm below level 30 right now) money farming. The video gives more information. But essentially it's getting Confusion Boost and Pulinpa (Confusing Causing skill) on a Persona of your choice with high-luck to get Mementos bosses (a few of which or story-mid bosses depending on dungeon/area) to drop massive cash since in confusion tosses you gain their money/item(s) they drop.

So if you have high experience, SP regen and confusion going on it gives you wayyy more cash than negotiations will.

Only the evening, and usually only on Friday and Saturday.
