There's one veteran pictured, and according to the actual article:
A) He was drafted.
B) He was not a foot soldier.
C) He did not return forty years later. He returned to Vietnam in 1992 to help refugees.
D) His marriage is not of convenience to "reap the benefits of the socialist government." He and his wife have two children.
E) He is semi-retired now. He appears to be on the board of several Vietnam charities.

Another vet is mentioned who returned in 2008 to be a volunteer English teacher for rural high schools. Now he's teaching at a Vietnamese university.

They are the only vets mentioned by name and they both seem to be net contributors to the country.

they licensed 24 stores with a lottery to serve 14 million people, the black market is still cheaper, has better quality and on top of that, is more convenient if you want to buy weed in Ontario. Colorado has over 2000 weed stores to serve around 5 million people. And predictably, they made around a billion USD in tax revenue.

Despite that Ontario STILL had the highest legal revenue of all the provinces, and they STILL lost money. It should really be an impossible mission, but they managed to find a way.

They fucked up the rollout in a big way, and their hur dur inefficiency is a big part of that. They plan to license 20 stores a month, but for some reason or another, not until april.

Their gross profit margin was 30% and the bottom line got annihilated by G&A costs, of which the largest amount was cost sharing with Ontario's state-run liquor concern (the government paying itself money) and salaries (the government redistributing money to its taxpayers).

There was also a one-time impairment cost in there of ~8.8 million CAD because the current government decided to shit can the previous government's plan to operate retail stores. There was another ~2.5 million in contract termination costs (like the leases on all those retail locations) from that policy reversal. Government should be run like a business or something.

Nintex works in a pretend industry so you can't fault him for not knowing anything about business.
