I mean, assuming he went to jiu jitsu 3 times a week bare minimum for, eh, 2 years, which is the average time it takes to get a blue belt, and he spars 3 times a class. That'd be def over 900 spars. So that's nearly the number he claimed. The real problem is that rolling isn't necessarily a "fight". I mean, it can be violent, and simulate the feeling of a fight, but as anyone who has competed in an actual bjj competition knows there's a vast difference between a controlled environment in a class setting and the adrenaline fueled "I gotta go shit my pants" feeling of going one on one with a stranger to see who is best in an actual live competition that induces fight or flight responses in the people who participate. So either way, Evi is full of shit, but maybe he's stretching that lie and it's kind of a white lie if he's continued bjj or trained more than 3 x a week regularly. He might have rolled 1000 times but that doesn't really constitute as a "fight" is what I'm saying I guess?
