I've been a member since the beginning of this place, very nearly.  Obviously haven't posted in years, and I'm obviously back to discuss the GAFpocalypse.  I loved listening to TheBorecast/Cruncheons back in the day and always liked that there was a place where firebrands like DrinkyCrow and Fragamemnon could speak more candidly.  I hope Eel O'Brien hasn't yet pawned his Wolfman bust to cover living expenses.
 
TheBore never really stuck with me just because it very much felt like a club I wasn't a part of.  I couldn't keep up with the various personalities and in-jokes and the meanings of several dozen various emoticons. People were allowed to change their handles really frequently I couldn't even keep up with who was who.  The idea of a more personality-driven board like TheBore certainly appealed to me, especially as NeoGAF became so busy and crowded that you never could keep track of anyone and it increasingly felt like every voice was lost in an anonymous cacophony.  None of this is really meant as criticism, but if you are hoping to retain some of the NeoGAF refugees then maybe it's worth considering.
