I bet you an avatar that gaf is dead, they have pissed off most of their potential userbase, and they'll go to either discord, here, Reset, Slaent, whatever else. Considering the fact that Reset currently is communicating with each community discord staff and they have each of these discords listed on their own server, Reset has prime opportunity to take a nice slice of Neogaf's pie. It's because Weinstein got taken down and the #MeToo movement gave people confidence that they could speak. Power in numbers, no single person had to bare the skeptical dissidents. Plus increased awareness and activism towards those particular issues.

Gaf having just staked it's moral line in the sand couldn't pull a heel turn just because it landed on their shores. When seeing all that, It's not so weird. It was a perfect storm. It's just disappointing that it takes a perfect storm, while on any other day complacency reigns.

Call me cynical, but I think the complacency is going to come back if a Rolling StoneUV scandal occurs again.

Yes, NeoGAF briefly had "Who Quoted Me".  I think the problem is that it basically required a full search query of the entire forum database.  Everybody mashes that button instead of using Subscribed Threads, because all they care about is who's talking at them.....and the result is that the server is frequently shitting the bed.

I'm glad that ResetERA has Who Quoted Me, but let's see how they fare when they have a massive database with years' worth of posts and tens of thousands of people using it.
