Only then, once the cultural war has been won, will the policy phase begin.

In my limited experience, slack can be a bit difficult to sign up for without potential "real life" contacts, like email, phone #, etc. If you want a simple, semi-anonymous experience (just a username and an invite link to click) it has a major advantage. It was also created primarily for game chat w/ built in voice (and now video chat) and linking your steam, blizzard, twitch, etc account and activity.

We use it for games and really, anything these days. It's basically irc but 100 x better. I am on Christian discords, fighting game discords that compile tech and what you use to get matches. In the anime/air dasher fighting game community discord is a necessity since they're more niche. People don't make random lobbies in anime games anymore. You just hit up discord and say,"who wants matches" and let it rip. Last night we started a lobby in BlazBlue and others wanted to join and we had lots of fun. Became a really big lobby full of matches. It's just really convenient way of chatting while compiling information. If you're a single player gamer it's probably not that important, but me I can join a discord specifically for a character I'm trying to learn in a fighting game and get all the tech compiled in one resourceful area and talk to vets and ask for advice.

It's pretty dope.
