As a comedian, I don't make jokes about people's races, because I know that it could create an indifference towards certain groups in people's minds, and indifference is the first thing someone needs in order to become racist.

If western animation production is anything like japanese production, odds are the guy didn't specifically chose to work on My Little Pony.
