Much cheaper than a house. My 1 bedroom condo is $500k. Equivalent lifestyle (view, building quality, area) for a house would be like $3-4m in Vancouver
I like having space; you can take my lawn but not my billiards room.
Many buildings have large shared rec rooms with things like billiards (mine is on the 43rd floor of a building with amazing views), or you are usually close to things like a local pub being in a dense area? Is it a situation where you don't want to be around people?
This mo'fucka living in an Ikea catalog and I've got my last name embroirdered on my pool table ballin all over this fool!
How does this even make sense:
Much cheaper than a house. My 1 bedroom condo is $500k. Equivalent lifestyle (view, building quality, area) for a house would be like $3-4m in Vancouver
Of course a tiny one bedroom condo is going to be cheaper than a fucking HOUSE.

That much for a one bedroom is insane to me. Like there's small units like that for sale in midtown here that start at like $300,000+...the place I live in is 15 minutes away from there, much bigger, cost a lot less, and because the area is continuing to develop and growing in popularity, is already worth like $50-$60k more than we paid for it a few years ago and would easily sell. I've read that high rises are much harder to get out of and have seen certain buildings in town that always have units for sale because nobody cares.
