Now that's out of my system.

Anthem looks pretty nice but is the love child of Destiny, Titanfall and Lost Planet. I'm not sure if those 3 things mix and/or if 'Destiny' still has the appeal it once had.
I'm also not entirely sure if a February 2019 release is going to work out for them.

EA shouldn't have done a conference but some separate announcements during E3 week.
A Battlefield V look today, Anthem after/during the Sony or MS presser, some EA sports event later in the week.
That way everyone would be happy.

They had no reason to do a conference without any content to back it up.

I doubt Spencer is the problem. After all, he wanted to bring Phantom Dust and their other Quirky titles back (#RIPRemake tho), problem is MS is moving from OS's and "being an entertainment center"/PS2-era stuff to "cloud as a service" models.
