That reminds me. E3 has gotten rather boring now. We used to have lovely trainwrecks like Konami's Tak Fuji's EXTREEEEEEME conference, Miyamoto struggling with Zelda motion controls or Microsoft imploding the Xbox One live on stage.
All we can look forward to now is the Ubisoft Eurojank but not much of a chance that Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo will completely fuck up.

Splinter Cell is something I'm cautiously optimistic about given Blacklist pumped the brakes on Convictions action status. Hopefully whatever they show is less "STEALTH™.gif" material and actually STEALTH.

E3 2010 was something else really, you had the Kinect Poncho's that caused Itagaki to leave immediately in angry confusion; you had UbiSoft depressing Joel McHale with each segment, showing a Laser Tag that didn't work and James Cameron in real time describing the Avatar plot; you had Konami restoring gaming to its proper place in the world after Sony shamefully dragged it through the gutter:

I guess Prime 4 will be there because of the leak but I hope Bayo 3 will be there even though it's early(not like they can't reuse assets from Bayo 1 and 2 anyway). If Nintendo's direct is just Smash and pokemon and another boring yarn yoshi segment then it would be a waste of time for me.

These 2 and FE Switch are the only switch releases I am really excited to see at this point.


What I’m really hoping for are localizations of Yakuza 3.4.5 remastered and Hokuto No Ken yakuza game. Doom 2 would be sweet too, but I doubt it’s going to happen since we are getting rage 2.

But it is undeniably building a library of quality games. A decent console Fire Emblem will be the final nail in the coffin of my resistance, even at $300.
