This was an okay presentation. Good chunk of games, most lovingly displayed.... even though I don't give a fuck about many of them. Still, they tried in earnest and I can dig that. Missing the girlboner woman from the past for the full cringe package, but whatever.

Also, some Nintendo games. Can't be all that bad if it has those.

And yeah, delegating SC to sony, probably. I guess that's OK.

I feel that Ubisoft deep down knows that nobody gives a fuck about the Assasins Creed storyline anymore. But the brand still sells, so there is still need to be some ties to the stupid storyline.

I really liked the assassins creed story at first. It was pretty interesting, but then they dragged it too far.

Anyway, Doom is one of those games that the core gameplay loop is so good, that I could fully just do more of the same with more levels and weapons.

I guess I can see some (incredibly minor)influence after playing Origins.

It's a better system than the press to win style of the earlier games(though TBH I basically skipped after 2 to Origins, only lightly playing the pirate one, whichever that was), but that praise just means it went from trash to meh. If They can improve on it from Origins I dare say it could be..decent?

The stealth approach was tolerable enough though, and I appreciated the paired back sci-fi elements of the story.
