- Sakurai (apparently correctly?) predicted no one would know who Richter is (I haven't even played the non-NES games and I know who he is

)
- Chrom was requested in Japan, Dark Samus overseas (duh)
- Echo fighers require more work than people assume
- Same for the key art for every character + 8 costume variations
- Porting over certain older stages took over a year of development work, due to how much they're bumping them up (see my previous post)
- Making Battlefield and Omega forms of stages isn't as easy as people may think either (which makes me personally lean towards "300+" being a more accurate stage count than "103")
- Ultimate's music takes up 25% of the space of Smash 4's, despite having many more tracks, due to improvements in compression tech (there is supposedly no loss of quality either, for the record)
- Some BS about kendo/judo influencing the Squad Strike mode
- Final Smash meter was specifically highlighted as being influenced by traditional fighting games
- They're using the Smash 4 DLC survey when deciding which new characters to include (Ridley and K. Rool were the near the top IIRC, possibly the highest ranking ones that didn't get implemented in Smash 4)
