What we really have to internalize is that frankly some White People simply don't care. They don't empathize, they don't sympathize. It's easier to dehumanize and look at people as an other.

And with this being the sobering fact, it's simply time for people to realize that we need to move past fake ass "integration and tolerance".

It doesn't exist. These people do not want anything to do with others. So I'd much rather we stop pretending to like each other and just keep it moving. We're pretty much at that point in the modern era.

So Maria saving his ass amounts to nothing at all.

Not only is DigitalOP a fucking dumbass who has no self awareness or social skills, he's a racist as well.

This past week I've been working on a speech in regards to hate speech laws in Sweden. As I was looking up information I couldn't help but think how lax the punishment for it is, and how inconsistent the verdicts are. A politician for the third biggest party in the country wrote a highly Islamophobic post on their facebook page and yet the courts decided it was not hate speech because it was part of a political discussion. How many people have to die because of this bigoted rhetoric before the world realizes that unlimited free speech and the internet are a dangerous combination?
how do i get this guy arrested for his dangerous rhetoric against free speech in support of the Trump Regime?

I think it's pretty damaging for one's self-esteem to neuter the expression of your thoughts to post on a place with a mentally unstable moderation team. There's no gain in adapting your mental processes to thir deranged views. As some said, why would you go back there? it's like you have to gouge parts of your freedom of expression, effectively letting an Orwellian Dystopia. Surely I don't mean people should go HURR DURR NIBBER QIQE. But what you said wasn't wrong by any stretch or spin. It's ridiculous that you need to adapt to their fragility to dissenting opinions

Trying to think about a proper reason why do they care about the numbers?

Is it in order to gloat Nintendo Japan dominance?
Or to ridicule MS Xbox in Japan failure?

Like... why do they care? What's so important? If a publisher is proud of its game number he will publish a PR about that.

Theyre pretty damn valuable at letting you know if a new IP is going to live forever or die.

Its pretty useful to understand whats going on with the industry.
The traditional industry is on fucking life support right now. Thats literally why all of the publishers are throwing shit at the wall and seeing what if anything sticks, and why releases are down across the board.

People who want to whine about AAA greed and Big Gaming fat cats don't want the information putting why all those companies are doing shit like lootboxes into context.

I think literally equating the suggestion of arresting people with a site that is currently cheering on a mass murder as equally extreme is what got you banned.

I don't know how you type shit like that, with snark and all, and not think "I'll be banned for this" immediately after.

Don't give me this bullshit you know the very idea of "lets arrest everyone who posts on 8chan" is fucking extremist fascism and I didn't equate it to mass murder, just general extremism. You just like those motherfuckers on ERA who selectively read and come up with stupid shit to get mad about.

You can LARP as an industry expert hobbyist, score some validation, points in console wars or -to be less acidic about it- be curious. In actuality you're only being given a very tiny morsel of the big picture and can't probably make serious assessments from it.

Not to champion information being pay walled, and if asked I prefer more data available than less, but in this specific case it seems pretty clear cut that "the public" is not entitled to accessing this sort of data freely.

Its just so bizzare to me. Not to be an 'old man yelling at clouds', but I wonder if it's a generational thing. In my teenage years AOL was just coming into play, I spent more time socalizing in real life in my teens than on the internet, and I firmly believe that being online all the time (and not seeing people in person) just chips away at your mental defenses so that these kids don't know what's what anymore. Someone posted in this thread or another that their 13-year old relative asked them if they knew who Ben Shapiro was . . . that's terrifying. Especially when it's coming from a still-developing mind.
