Was this how GAF was like on election night in 2016?

Worse, and it was GLORIOUS. Should go back and read that thread. Just be careful of your sodium levels.

Oh good, theyre scrambling to back the narrative that the Democrat house will save the day and bring everyone to justice.

Just like how they held Wall Street accountable for the 2008 crimes. Just like how they brought those in the Bush regime responsible for the WMD lies to justice.

Keep the hope up guys.

1. This is so bad that NatSec stuff is happening behind the scenes and Barr/Rosentein put a good face on it to buy time while it unfolds. There’s a lot more to see here.

There's also a subplot with a DOJ plane used for extraordinary rendition that was in London and Assange apparently freaking out because of a supposed increase of plainclothes under the Embassy's windows. The plane has left London and headed back to the US. It's all very exciting but I don't really see how exactly Assange could have been arrested short of his own volition or some massive diplomatic violations, him being in an embassy and everything.

Quote
I'm pretty confident that the US has Assange or someone from wikileaks and will announce it tomorrow at a news conference. No tweets from them since the plane left London.

It seems that the report still doesn’t paint a “perfectly legal picture” as Nintex is sperging. It seems they just didn’t found enough evidence to say either way.

they seem to think Assange is the only person who tweets from the Wikileaks account?

and that like the entire organization wouldn't be screaming its head off about this, all their contacts (like alt-right leader Glenn Greenwald) were doing that when it was rumored there had been a deal made with Ecuador to kick him out

Sure. Dems are pushing for the report as the DOJ summary implies there could be some evidence for obstruction there. But unless they're mangling the content something fierce (which I wouldn't put past them...) "the Special Counsel hasn't found that any member of the campaign colluded with the Russian government" is pretty plain, cut and dry.

We'll see, I guess.

Trump became a billionaire in the late 70's  thru 80's in NYC which was as corrupt as it came  in the world between the police, mob, wall street and somehow made it out without jail time. He knows how to do shady shit but put enough space between him and it for deniability

It's because the second mandate of the Special Counsel was so broad to include literally anything, which is why he charged Manafort for crimes that had absolutely nothing to do with the Trump campaign or Russia simply because Manafort lied to him and he had the power to fold any investigation into his own:
Quote
The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confinned by then-FBI
Director James 8. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on
Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:
(i) any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals
associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).

Clinton's impeachment stemmed from Ken Starr doing the same thing. Starr was appointed to investigate Whitewater and "anything" related to the investigation. Starr used this power to fold not only investigations regarding the White House Travel office, the White House (possibly in Hillary's office) accessing personal FBI files of people and civil cases against Bill Clinton for sexual harassment into his investigation and then Clinton lied to Starr about not having sex with Lewinsky. In the end nobody even cared about Whitewater, the Travel Office, FBI files or anything else, not even Starr because he had got an easy "win" by catching Clinton in a crime against his investigation. But Starr also couldn't exonerate anyone for the previous things because it's not his job to prove they didn't do it.

Mueller's easy "wins" were against people like Flynn and Manafort lying to his investigation. Also the Russians who never left Russia and didn't even bother to cover up their actions because they probably never plan on leaving Russia. (I mention this because Russia makes a point of not extraditing its citizens under almost any circumstance possible. No one charges them with crimes actually expecting to prosecute them normally.)

Mueller left no stone unturned (literally). If he had found something on Don Jr., Kushner or Ivanka he would've questioned them.
In fact, given the Kushner and Trump family history it is astounding that he found nothing to pressure them with like he did with Manafort, Cohen and Flynn.

But the writing was already on the wall that this went nowhere when Manafort was caught for crimes he did prior to the Trump campaign and Hicks and others close to the family walked away after just a few rounds of questioning.

You can pretty much stonewall any investigation that doesn't know what crimes it's investigating if you don't talk to it.
