The Pom thing started in the spring of '03. I was laid off from work, and had been for a year and a half, without having found steady work.

I was bored.

I went with my mother to the local A.C. Moore and wandered the aisles looking for something to do. I found a Shoebox craft kit for making cute PomPom animals.

Started making the animals in the instruction book, but quickly got bored. I wasn't really into cute animals, anyway.

But I saw the potential.

I made Pom figures loosely based off of myself and my girlfriend. Then made us a nemesis. Called him the Mighty Space Bastard. They didn't look bad, almost like characters from Gumby.

I started hoarding Poms. Back then, you could still get almost any color in any size without having to buy a big mixed bag.

I made the Aqua Teen Hunger Force, some more caricatures, some characters from various stories my girlfriend and I were working on, and some others.

Got interupted from just about everything that fall when I got married (sorry, ladies), but a few years later I got them back out when I was inspired to do the cast of Homestarrunner.com.

A few more charicatures, a few more story and R.P characters for my wife and her friends. This was around '05-'08.

Then Mattel began releasing the MOTU classics line of figures. I loved He-man figures. Remebered the ones I had as a kid. Unfortunately, they were twenty bucks apiece on their site, and sold out usually minutes after being released.

I couldn't afford to collect them like I wanted to.

But my Pom box caught my eye. I could make my own. Mwuahahaha!! And they would be just as I wanted them to be.

I started calling my creations Pomheroes.

This is my largest Pom endeavor to date. It is an ongoing process, and will be untill I make all the original figures as well as newer ones, and my own fan-fic ones. I plan to begin working on vehicles soon, as well, and possibly even a playset or two in the future.

My only other ongoing project with the Poms right now is making Pomheros of Characters from our Rogue Trader campaign. I've done one of each of the Players, and plan to do some of our favorite NPC's.

That's where I'm at currently. I'm just starting this Gallery, and am working on a nice foam and felt background piece to get some really good pics of the MOTU Pomheroes to upload. Oh, and I've also done a few Ewoks.

Watching the show doesn't make you feminine any more than watching horror films makes you a sociopath.

If it's there, it's there.  I f you didn't notice a feminine side to your personality until after watching the show, either you aren't that introspective or you just haven't had a chance to express it in a healthy way before.

You shouldn't be ashamed for watching any t.v show

...outside of trashy reality shows, reality game show (survivor), pretty much anything live-action on Cartoon Network, Disney, or Nick ( seriously, how many shows do we need about twelve-year-olds saving the world/city/concert?), anything on MTV, weird-ass anime that makes no sense (bleach and co.)(because I'm not going back to re-watch the first two seasons just to make some damn sense of whatever-the-hell I'm looking at right now), less-weird anime that's just lame (harem that isn't Ranma), ok most anime, some of that bullshit they put on Cartoon Network really late at night for the stoners (pretty much anything between Robot Chicken and the 4am replay of Family Guy), never-was 'comedians' showing you everything you just watched on youtube last week (that's right Tosh, Rob Dydreck stole your show and is better at it)(yes I know that violates the MTV rule, but it is better),  sitcoms about the lifestyle that absolutely no one has, anything with the word 'Celebrity' in the title, a bunch of shit I can't think of right now, and sporting events (if you have a favorite team and wear their jersey while watching the game and shouting like a lunatic than fuck off you conformist prick)

...and porn, porn, porn, porn, and hentai. I really don't care if you watch, but keep that shit to yourself, and I'll do the same.
 
What you should be ashamed about is if your level of outward enthusiasm and obsession (let's call that exofandom) is distracting or annoying to those around you that don't share in the same level of exofandom (there, I used it) making you come off like some asshat that no one wants to be around.
 
Seriously. Take that shit down a notch. And you know who you are.

T-shirts are fine. as are hats, and other creative tweaks to a mundane outfit. Talk about the show around others that like it. Mention it briefly to those that might.

But don't run around the mall in a Rainbow Dash fursuit screaming out the lyrics to Winter Wrap-up. Don't show up at local pizza place with toys and try to make them draw Fluttershy on your box. Seriously, you look like a dick. You're far more likely to turn people of the of the show that way, as well as generate negativity to the more balanced fans in your area, or everywhere if you're filming your bad behavior for youtube. That's what you should be ashamed of.

I took an Astronomy class in college, and the professor actually debunked Astrology. I think he said something along the lines that since Astrology is based on the stars in the sky based on the time of year you're born, and the stars slowly move and change dates, so the dates are not concrete and you can have the stars for a Taurus in the dates of a Leo or something along those lines.

Neutrois are in some ways humans who wish to remove the biology of gender from themselves and the battle is being accepted for detaching themselves from being human but still crave being loved as a person.

A person with a body who was for whatever reason born into a body they didn’t choose to identify with. And it’s not that we don’t love ourselves, we do. Neutrois can be considered Agender, Transgender, Non-Binary, Gender Non-Conforming, and we do love ourselves. We design our faces and our bodies a certain way, choose our clothing, and make ourselves feel attractive just like any other person in the morning. We look at the world from a binary perspective, where things can look too feminine or too masculine and it’s a challenge everyday to fit into these roles and constructs whether sociological or biological it’s a challenge to see ourselves in this time period.

Maybe for a handful of us it’s not important whether or not we are attractive, because we aren’t interested in passing.
