That orange skin is a race thread started off like it could go places, but it didn't go full blood and soil. Thankfully there are other Atomgaffen threads.

We live in a world where the seven year old girl who played Morgan Stark made a video asking people to not bully her family and folks gotta come into this thread to tell celebs to grow a thicker skin.

Being rude doesn't require the intention to be rude, just like you can harass someone without thinking that what you are doing is harassment.

Welp.

Also, pretty convenient that last one. I get it and I don’t exactly disagree but seems pretty convenient when certain situations arise.

in a thread about a 17-year-old girl being murdered

She was an utter nutcase. Her actions attracted another nutcase IRL, a jealous, stabby one whom she chose to fuck then ridicule alongside the other 50+ men she allowed into her apartment. This has nothing to do with 4chan. Nobody deserves to get their neck gouged open, but this was not by mere chance.

It's the kind of stuff even Jerry Springer would find unappetizing.

https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/43jzvb/straight-men-recall-the-first-time-they-were-attracted-to-a-trans-woman

ERA thread when?

Quote
My first boyfriend was a straight kid from the Bronx. Alex—not his real name—was cerebral and boyishly handsome, but socially anxious. He was too afraid to go out with me in public, so our six-month relationship occurred entirely within my Brooklyn apartment. When Alex’s dad found out about me, he got mad, and said I’d been deceptive. Later, Alex told me his dad had admitted that when he was young, he’d beaten a trans girl for “tricking him.”

I tried to console Alex, but I'm not sure how much progress we made. Looking back now, I think what he really needed was a fellow straight man to tell him he was okay the way he was—that his attraction to me wasn't dangerous. But, for hetero men who date and fuck trans women, that sort of community can be almost impossible to find. Dozens of men contact me in any given week on dating apps. Most of them are unwilling to meet in public. They specifically describe themselves as “discreet,” on the “down low,” or “private.”

This secrecy means that many men who are attracted to trans women end up living a lie. And in the worst cases, that lie boils over into anger and violence towards trans women for putting their masculinity on the line. But there are cis, straight men who are working to break this silence. I spoke to four of them—across generations—about how they grapple with the taboo around loving trans women.

Chris, 57, is a white businessman and a male escort on the side; Troy, 55, is a Black father, grandfather, and Financial Services professional; Joel, 37, is a Black Information Systems Analyst; and Jeremy, 20, is a Black college student from New York City.

These interviews have been edited and condensed for length and clarity.

Chris can't be that good of a business man if he's an escort on the side...

If someone with a REE account really wanted to stir up some shit, they'd make a topic about how many/most of them are members of a hate site (NeoGAF, not to be confused with an actual "hate site" like the bore). That they are forever connected through the magic of SEO unless they specifically request NeoGAF to delete their account and all associated posts. That not using the site anymore isn't enough, that they need to do more, and be better if they don't want that association to follow them like a rabid dog.

It would only take a few minutes to email support@neogaf.com or log into the site (yikes) and use the 'Contact us' link to send a message requesting the deletion. That not doing so is enabling, nay, actively participating in the spread of unadulterated, vile hate, racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, transphobia, and the likes.

It works like this: they supplied a wealth of content to GAF over the course of almost 2 decades. That wealth of information is was powers GAF. This association is not only providing profit to the owner (double yikes), but is also now recruiting new, impressionable people (triple yikes).

It's a breeding ground for all of the things that REE stands against. Not doing anything would be slacktivism at it's finest. Granted, EviLore will probably ignore most, if not all of the requests, but that's when the fight truly begins.

Sadly, I'm waaaaaay to lazy to make a REE account, let alone one that can post a topic. But, perhaps, through the power of the internet, this message will reach them, one way or another.

Also Disney is an actual ally that deserves some slack. They've set the social movement known as Black Panther into gear and released the first ever movie with a strong female lead on World Women's Day (for which they only hired an ass double because the actress' ass is flat and unattractive).

I think they're trying to balance the decriminalization of sex work vs. the objectification of the female body.

I.E. if you say "I've seen those porns and the womens be sexy, but I hope they win their lawsuit" you'd be banned for innapropriate commentary but if you say "I can't believe they didn't see this coming" you'd be in the clear.

The part that gets you banned is the objectification, finding sexy things sexy.

"didn't like the second film" isn't even a specific condemnation of her acting or role in it, like she says it's literally being disappointed in her "job" or what was produced at her workplace

Unpopular opinion: dickheads love "Owning the libs" so much because deep down they miss owning slaves. They love the owner and master dynamic, desperate for something to control.

I don't think that's quite it, but close. When you drill down into racism, it's just tribalism. Now, we've developed tribalism around political ideology. So, that has become the "socially acceptable" way to hate others.

Isn't 'latino' American terminology? In other words no. :p

And the word 'word' was also invented by white people. Thanks for your insight though Marrec, it is the participating that really counts.
