I think it depends on the context. In this case it's going to a mental health charity. It was my first solid job, so when I got hired I took whatever they offered (which was still more than I was making before!) but after getting to know a lot of people, they told me they negotiated something better than the base pay.So I’ve been working hard and my numbers seem good for there to be a shot at a promotion, I’m a year older and wiser now so I want to be ready for anything. I’m trynna to tell these white people to take that first offer and shove it up they ass (unless it’s a solid offer) So is there any place that I can compare salaries, hourly wages, etc?
