Get paid to write an op ed in WaPo, tweet out the entire article on twitter defeating the point of WaPo paying you, then using it to grift for campaign donations.
I have nothing against Wu. Sure, she's a bit of a professional victim, but whatever. And she did/does receive a bunch of crap from randos.
But mostly, while her campaign is clearly futile, she's actually
doing something about her beliefs, unlike most people. I don't agree with her beliefs, and I think her logic is poor, but I can respect that she's putting her beliefs into action far more than the vast majority of people. Maybe with a side of grifter, but still.
As for the logic in the first tweet, I'm actually fine with it. For example, I think most people would concede that Skateboarder culture is heavily tied with smoking weed. Skateboards and the act of skateboarding themselves have nothing at all to do with smoking weed (except maybe relaxation), yet the culture surrounding skateboarding makes it more likely that someone getting into skateboarding will eventually smoke weed.
I think that's her argument... in the first Tweet. I don't necessarily agree that the culture surrounding video games leads one to be a violent extremist, but it's not in and of itself logically faulty.
But then she goes on to say that the reason that that culture is (allegedly) there is because of the content of the games. She's completely contradicting herself. She wants to say that games make people shoot people and at the same time deny she's saying it, because she doesn't want Jack Thompson comparisons.
She also doesn't understand how gravity works.
Which will make it difficult to work with all the SJW's HEY-OH!!!
