Although to note, the "gold" content is a DLC code.  They just repackaged the vanilla version. All of those games except for Wargroove and Crypt Of The Necrodancer have physical releases, BTW.  But they cost a lot more.

RE5 is RE4 on weird steroids.

For some reason Chris started to lift, play Call of Duty and suddenly "Temple of Doom". Leon sort of had to do things 'tactically' in RE4. Chris literally punches his way through the zombies it's quite awesome.
You exclusively shoot black people which they made grey-ish and more 'diverse' to try and patch that up because only after they showed the first trailer did they realize that a white super soldier gunning down all of Africa maybe wasn't the best premise for a game. Honestly Capcom would've been boycotted for decades had they released that famous TGS trailer at this E3.  :lol

Been too long- does your CPU partner even take damage in RE5?  I just remember them never being a problem, even if they could be kind of useless at times.  :lol

Yes, they can. They eat up all your health. You're better off having a co-op partner until you can get them an infinite ammo item.

I replayed RE5 in coop recently, that game is a ton of fun, even though it has some stupid shit mechanics in the upgrade/exchange items department, and it only has one boss that poses a challenge (the guy with the minigun).
Also it being set in Africa, they could've come up with some more original locations, many of them seem copy pasted from RE4... where the fuck are the zombie lions?

To be fair, you can't pay any amount of money to get seiken densetsu 3 in english at the moment.

No, you just download it for free.  :doge

To get everything but the dungeon creator in LA, you can currently pay six bucks.

The game plays exactly the same except for the contents of that dungeon building hut and now it has the same bloom and DOF issues that plagued the last remaster from the company, Wind Waker HD.

I dont know, man. It's asking for a $54 premium for a set of new, not necessarily improved, graphics, a quicker control scheme, and a dungeon builder, which if it was especially impressive I'm sure they would market the game on primarily. Otherwise the two games are identical products and that's a hard sell.

Edit: I didn't hear the music but I assume it's remixed. Therell be that too I guess.

Nintendo said they're adding shit to the main game.

Yes, the Remastered uses the PC version as its base which had some changes which I don't remember.

Quote
. The PC version of the game featured numerous improvements and changes from the original, including the integration of the downloadable content from the 360 version into the main game, enhanced graphical settings, a "Turbo Mode" increasing battle speed, and a New Game Plus option allowing the player to start a new game with the gold and unique items from their first play-through.

Probably has to do with the chip you stole in the cinematic trailer. The IGN preview of the behind closed doors demo said something about the key to immortality being ai/consciousness or w/e and apparently something similar happened in cyberpunk lore to Johnny's gf in 2020?

I still can't believe Konami would release collections for all of their popular IPs and yet a MGS collection is nowhere to be found. They still haven't ported their MGS HD collection which was released in 2011.

Would make sense. Netrunner (well, Android: version anyway) has had talks of "Ghost Runners" in their lore. So Johnny being a cyborg, jacked in, and dying or uploading his consciousness onto a software a la "brain-taping" would be interesting.

Johnny Silverhand-Mnemonic I guess.

Quote from: u/therealmaxmike
I get into exactly why the NET works differently in the Cyberpunk world in the upcoming RED books. Suffice it to say that when the original Cyberpunk was written, Usenet was the high point of communications. THIS part just never happened in the 2020 world:

In the 1980s, research at CERN in Switzerland by British computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee resulted in the World Wide Web, linking hypertext documents into an information system, accessible from any node on the network--Wikipedia

Basically, the NET of the Cyberpunk world jumped from Usenet pretty much straight into direct interface and never established the protocols for web-based internets. There are a lot of reasons for this, but that's the topic of an entire chapter in RED.

I can't wait for Red. I'm re-going through the 2020 Core rulebook right this moment after finishing Shadow of the Beanstalk/Genesys' version of the Android: IP/source-book and man is the writing rough and very "late 80's-early 90's" when it comes to tech and character classes.

Oh, that's really cool having recently bumped back up on that real world history. This also explains a lot of stuff people have been bitching about, both of the ResetERA.com type and the more sensible type.

Only iterating off of Usenet also solves a ton of problems that Sci-Fi in general has rarely yet figured out how to roll back the Internet on. :lol Sci-Fi advancing from our own timeline where future humans can't just search things for basic info is always amusing.

I think you're reading that wrong. They're supposedly going to change the way the Network works to be sort of a proto-modern-time while also still having it be within the 2020/late 80's Usenet sort of style.

Either way, I'm waiting to see how they do the Netrunners (the major reason I'm interested in the game) before I freak out over it.
