tbf I can't remember too many cases in which the "negative side" went overboard to the point that it would be a real annoyance. And even the funniest rage brigades, like against Diablo mobile, at least consist of people who haven't made their favorite conglomerate into an infallible divinity. Overblown critique, but at least it's critique
Fanboyism on the other hand is the biggest cancer if you want to have conversations about anything online. When I was extremely disappointed with gaming developments, the closest thing pushing me towards actual hate would be the manbabies ganging up on you constantly for not sucking corporate tit enough.
Most dumb ResetEra campaigns would fit that description, I think.
lol when did resetti have any negative campaigns against companies? it's a shill machine for the lowest-tier manbabies. you get dogpiled and banned if you even insinuate that some shitty looking pokemon game or whatever could've been developed better.

Issues of slickness are on a different plane than their fundamental fanboyism, which the forum is designed around (call a company lazy = ban). The former has nothing to do with the actual games. But it's funny to observe the hardcore sluts react to both realities mixing, i.e. when bad optics™ concern the "good guys" Disney, Nintendo, etc. "nah that's different, that's in the past".

Bitches like TheMoon clearly in agony when people attack Smash Bros. for having no black Wii Fit trainer or whatever, but he knows he can't be as condescending as usual against the enemies of his god-company, because the ban hammer floats above him.
