don't make the mistake of thinking I want to discuss bullshit like this seriously

I'll say without going into gory details; having a pet nearly die during this sucked ass. Had to drop him off, couldn't see him at all, if we did have to put him down there's questions of whether we can even be there (might have to soon), etc.
PM and the modeling press conferences had very annoying reporter questions. Every second question was 'How long is this going to last?' and the PM kind of got boxed into saying a year to year-and-a-half at least and that's only if people take is seriously now and we will not be going back to normal until we have a vaccine.
Individuals with age <65 account for 5%-9% of all COVID-19 deaths in the 8 European epicenters, and approach 30% in three US hotbed locations.
Alternatively phrased, individuals <65 years old had 34-73 fold lower risk of COVID-19 death than older individuals. For New York City, Louisiana and Michigan, the difference was somewhat smaller, with those <65 years old having 13-15 fold smaller risk of dying than older individuals.
I would cite obesity stats in relation to that, but i'm not sure obesity rates in the US are particularly high in NYC area, and UK have it also fairly bad, no?

Wonder how these relate to population though? Aren't different cities / regions populated by a different percentage of >65? Like Florida is drasitcally different from NYC.

As hoped, for the first time since the beginning of the crisis, more people left ICU than were admitted in France.A lot more dead people in long term care homes retrospectively attributed to COVID however. Now 1/3 of all total fatalities and considering how it's ballooning I fully expect it to be half of it of more in a week.

The first AIDS victims were buried away from other graves on the island in 1985 over fears they would infect the other bodies.
Non-grocery retail business plunged 97% in the last week of March compared with a year earlier, according to Morgan Stanley.
That doesn't include online shopping, right? This was the final nail in the coffin for brick and mortar
Amazon announced 100,000 new hires a month ago.
I was reading up about that NYC island where they have mass graves and they had this factoid in the article:QuoteThe first AIDS victims were buried away from other graves on the island in 1985 over fears they would infect the other bodies. Just shows the level of ignorance and panic during that time.
Sweden also all but dropped Hydroxychloroquin in it's hospitals and reportedly 54 cases of cardiac complications (4 fatal) in France among those using it for COVID19. Seems to be a trend in feedbacks from everywhere last day or two.
The fact that you actually think you were somehow responsible for the alt-right and... dudes dressing in military fatigues and thinking they are tough because some meme someone else wrote you pasted on the cover of a MoH game on NeoGAF in 2009...Holy fucking shit lol.. I've seen you brag about inventing the concept of Dudebros (which was already laughable) but this is TOO FUCKING MUCH DUDE.I love you.

I can't read the reee threads any more. Those people need therapy so badly. Such confidence in the idea that we will never get over this and this will be the end of society

He's got some valid worries but there's some overt masochism in browsing RE instead of trying to keep to your national official recap, scientific and medical outlets. But we're all engulfed in all Corona all the time now and more than a few morbidly checking Worldometers. It's hard to escape it.
