Which was interesting in that it explains that a lot of crashes need to thread the needle (so to speak) to keep the helicopter on a safely landing. But the problem I have with that video is: They don't actually turn the engine off at high altitude like he said he was going to do. We cut to them sort of going into a landing, so we don't see the whole thing. That's what I want to see: An actual "emergency landing" (simulation/simulated to where they don't die, I guess?) that is going through a drop, like Kobe, Army folks, etc. do. That is when my opinion on "helicopters that get their rotors fucked over/engine stops/etc. are bricks" would actually change.
