Okay, sure. Never really stood out to me, but it’s a mod. More mods is good.

That's what soundtrack replacers like Better Music System Redone + Immersive Soundtrack are for. I still have Soule's music set to play in certain parts of the game (mainly overworld regions), but it's good to have a change and not constantly think "I'm listening to music inspired by abuse".

I feel compelled to clarify that I did not say this and neither did the person you’re quoting. I regret that this comparison was ever brought up at all.

I did content moderation for eighteen months. By the end of my tenure, I barely ate. I barely slept. I had hallucinations. I was written anti-anxiety and blood pressure prescriptions. I had to go to therapy. I had a panic attack so intense I believed I was having a heart attack. I left out of medical necessity.

It was something I did because I believed in its importance. But I don’t really get the luxury to talk about it because people resent moderators across the entire internet and laugh at the idea it was ever difficult. What happened here seems to always happen. Someone scoffs at the idea it was a mental toll, someone brings up something objectively worse, and the conversation has to end.

The reason I’m replying to you isn’t because I want to convince you or argue with anyone. But because it shows that even after the misunderstanding is resolved, as you say, the consequences of the dispute remain. The conversation has been reframed around how much harder other things are and now discussing what was hard for me is objectionable. Nobody will take how I feel seriously and now the discussion is distasteful.

I’m sorry for singling out your reply. I don’t mean to sound hostile or angry — I promise I am neither. I’m just really depressed. I have been for a long time. I am trying to express myself more when something hurts me instead of just swallowing it. Since I’m quarantined and most of my interactions are online that means relying on the internet to open up about how I’m feeling. I recognize that this probably isn’t the time or place. But I’m going to post it anyway because if I don’t it will be all I think about. I’m sorry for using a thread about wanting to ignore people to talk about myself.
