As someone who's no stranger to therapy, I can tell you what Finale's therapist's reaction was exactly. First he would be taken slightly aback by the amount of time the guy spends on the forum and the fact he wasn't getting paid for it, then he would tell him to limit his time there. He would recommend focusing on his seemingly otherwise fulfilling life, like spending more time with his wife. With more sessions and more information unearthed, he would come to the conclusion it's ultimately a toxic community acting as a shackle not only for Finale's mental health, but his potential in general, and so he would recommend he cuts it out of his life entirely. Finale obviously refused, though whether he told the therapist that or not is unclear.
