today I learned that morrigan runs a website and forum called metal-archives

I mean it's possible that it's a completely different morrigan from the one who posts about metal and is from canada and is mentioned as running the site several places online

The website has been widely criticised for being elitist, and the moderators for being unable to deal with criticism. Attempts to debate and point out incongruencies in the selection of bands, as well as of certain positions of the moderators, are met with extreme hostility, and quickly result in insults followed by banning. Openly displaying incoherences on the website's policies and procedures, as well as on any debates regarding heavy metal music also consistently result in offences made by moderators and their minions, followed by expulsions, with the contradictory evidence presented being subsequently erased and the discussion locked. Presenting positive data about bands which are widely disregarded, ridiculed and met with hostility will also result in bans, although joining in the group-hate ritual of insulting these bands is a much welcomed, and recurrent program. Although not a deliberately admitted policy, any questioning of the actions of moderators is very likely to result in the contributor being immediately banned, regardless of the merit of the debate, or quality of the evidence brought up.

The website's policy is to not deal with information which contradicts the moderators beliefs on what heavy metal is, and insistence on displaying information, facts, data or arguments which expose a lack of solidity in the administration's agendas is aggressively punished, resulting in a ritual composed by 1. threats, 2. name-calling and culminating with 3. expulsion. In tune with the rituals of youth-centred, identity-seeking and herd-mentality aligned urban tribes and subcultures, the website's direction prides itself on being "anti-mainstream", and on rejecting/mocking bands, publications, critics, writers, musicians, websites and general information sources which are "mainstream" or "popular" (such as wikipedia, which is consistently mocked), implying that only the website's staff, as selected and self-elected elite, are able to judge, determine and enforce which are the diverse aspects of heavy metal music.

I think that there are more swastikas/celtic crosses/nationalist themed albums-songs-lyrics here than on a average white nationalist website/forum. There is an never ending amount of assholes in metal, luckily the majority of nazis stick to black metal and other not so experimental genres, where they just want the same thing released over and over again, where they can have the same attitude to music as they do to society. This is maybe the easiest question I could ever answer about Star Wars, Prequel trilogy hands down.  Those movies have actively bad stuff in them, but so does the sequel trilogy, while also being three boring movies in a row, two of which are even less competently directed than the prequel movies.

Honestly, I have never seen any Star Wars film. I'm not that big into Sci-Fi and I wouldn't watch anything without cars in until I was about 15 so it just passed me by. Then the second set of films came out and I was never sober enough to watch any of them. Now they're on the third trilogy and they still don't appeal.

I don't mention it in real life because people would think I was trying to make some sort of 'cool' statement, but it's true. Never seen any of them, never been bothered by it.
