Like I am not into the outdoor lifestyle and hunting and what have you, but that doesn’t make me less of a man. Same for a woman who likes to wear pants or who‘s into sports.

The funny thing is that a ton of people (myself included) are all for rejecting gender norms if someone wants to take part in gendered activities or wear makeup or wear traditionally feminine/masculine/androgynous clothing, they just don't want to be called a bigot for refering to a male-presenting man wearing men's clothing as "he" (or vice versa). And they don't want to start every conversation with "what pronouns do you prefer" and have to keep a mental list of every person's response.
