Remember when they carved out the exception specifically for Israel that you couldn't say "Israel is killing people" you had to say "the Israeli government is killing people" and they wrote it specifically and directly into the rules about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Well, this no longer applies (at least based on the stickied thread and others), now it's fine to just say "Israel" again like any normal country.
But there still is one country that has an exception where you can't criticize it by using its name and instead you have to be hyperspecific. It's also the largest population and GDP (PPP) country on Earth. And a totalitarian single party state. And the staff refuses to be clear about whether you can criticize that latter part or any other "sensitive" part too forcefully. And after extensive discussion among the staff (as is required for all bans) continues to actively carry out the wishes of CCP apologists at best (actual CCP members at worst) who report benign postings criticizing criminal acts by China.
