Part of that conspiracy exists because Devin Nunes the CEO of Truth Social (Trump's own social media channel) said that Trump had convinced Elon to buy Twitter. Which Elon denies.

Also Trump claimed that he wouldn't return to Twitter, yet filed a lawsuit to get unbanned that was dismissed about 24 hours ago.
Because the judges were like 'wtf is this'. And then just 24 hours later Elon takes a question at some car conference thing and says he will unban Trump when he takes control of Twitter.
