I just have no desire to see a movie that a know-nothing teenager has hyped non-stop, especially when the rest of his taste is questionable. It's only now that I am interested in seeing Borat.

Ok, time to chime in. First of all, I thought that was the best show overall they've put on in YEARS. I really enjoyed it thoroughly. Second, Infernal Affairs is Chinese, not Japanese, lolz. Third, the Morricone tribute was so unexpected and fuckawesome. The only thing missing was a Leone tribute. Finally, it was great to see Marty get his 30 year overdue Oscar. I dont think this was the film he deserved it for (see my GAF thread), and it definately wasnt his best directorial effort, but still, no one was more in need of an Oscar than Marty. Loved the ovation. Best Picture was a bit shocking to me.

Also, I love how only going to the theatres 15 times or so last year is a sign of being a bad film lover according to Oogami.
