Doing a favour doesn't make you immune to being sleighted, but pissing people off has consequences, too.  I can absolutely say to my friend that gives me rides "nice driving, dickbag", but I should not be shocked if he then refuses to give me a ride next time.

And yes, he was making a goofy Duckroll-esque comment, but you're one of Duckroll's flock, I'm sure you could see through it easily enough.  Anyway, cvx seems to be over it, so whatevs.  It's certainly not my battle.  But I do totally understand where cvx was coming from.  The combination of lack of appreciation and ri-fucking-cockulous entitlement complexes can get on a guy's nerves pretty badly to the point where it just takes one straw to break the back.

I have a fairly vague interest in sales and do need someone to break it down  for me.  I have little context to understand what sales are good in Japan or America.  But I still think looking at sales is interesting if only to be like "*so-and-so* game sold well, so that probably means a sequel, more support for that team, or other publishers will try to copy that success."   Infamous didn't sell great or anything, but it seemed to do good enough that I knew I will probably get a sequel, which makes me happy since it's my second favorite game this year.  Or Borderlands, which I didn't love as much as everyone else, but I thought it was a great first step in combining shooter and loot game successfully; knowing that Gearbox will most likely be allowed to make a sequel or even another studio to follow their lead makes me look forward to those potential games in the future.

I don't understand retail musing or anecdotal sales data.  I mean, the closest thing to that I'd trust is top selling games in Steam.
