Flames of Paris was awesome.
I got there early and was able to sit in on a Q&A with the ballet master. He was pretty much a stereotypical defector.
Despite what he may think, seeing a political ballet is awesome because of the politics, not in spite of them.
The dancer who played Marie Antoinette was named Zvezdana which I found mildly amusing.
Uhhhhhh *thinks* it was kind of weird seeing "Liberte, egalite, fraternite" written in Russian. (I suppose it was weirder that I knew what the signs said in the first place, but
.)
