Played some Skate 3 with Gamepass on Series S.
Skate 1 and 2 are two of my favorite games of all time, and this plays just as well, but the map is surprisingly bland both visually and structurally.
I would like them to return to that grounded feel Skate 1 had, without the comedy bullshit (which i get, it's part of Skater culture apparently).
Anyway, the game is fun as usual otherwise, even though it just feels less polished.
For example every single time i need to clear some obstacle for a challenge, a crowd starts to form directly in front of the line, like mindless zombies, they spawn and occlude the space making it impossible to complete.
Difficulty also feels kind of all over the place, but that's not as big of a deal, as long as you can just dick around and your own thing.
Also continued a bit of Scarlet Nexus, but my opinion is more or less the same: skip all dialog, fun combat, a bit repetitive so far.
Oh yeah, and Quick Resume is really neat (when it doesn't bug out).
Granted having to wait 40 seconds to start a game isn't a big deal in the first place, but instantly jumping back to Scarlet when a challenge in Skate got too frustrating, was something i wouldn't have expected to enjoy, but did.
Granted i probably wouldn't use it with a more serious game.
