When I picked up my Gamestop pre-order they also gave me this white hardcover Devil May Cry artbook.....its thin but its as good as anything that ever came with an Atlus/Working Designs RPG....

Make sure to ask for it!

On the PS3 edition the history of DMC stills shown during the install process were nice. The info was useful for those not knowing the story. - it explains at a very high level the first three games.....

I dont have time to play right now - but i got it installed!

If it's the door above the Torture Chamber, behind the bars, you can't open it for some time. Like I said in the other thread, it really is a bit aimless. Just keep going the only way you can (use the Devil Bringer to get to an opening midway along the side of that room)...you'll get to that door eventually. Prediction: By that time, you'll have forgotten utterly of the existence of that door.

Is that the bit with the red bouncy platforms? If so, that's what you do. I don't think you even need the Devil Bringer for that bit...only if you want to go for the various orbs lying around.
