I think everyone would be ruthless so that's the right choice.  I've been on an online site since my last relationship ended about a year ago and I've met a couple of nice girls through it, but nobody who I sparked with. The big thing that I think is great is that you can filter out fundamental incompatibilities before you even start something.

Fat guys also have the advantage of being able to hide a bit of fat away with either their inherent body shape or putting a bit of muscle on.  Men tend to have any fat spread fairly evenly over their whole body.

I think fat is more difficult to hide for girls because more often than not it goes straight to their thighs and ass, and that's generally in plain view.

I still think fat girls (who aren't sluts) have the toughest deal.

even now, when I meet a girl I'll try to get close so I can inspect her for acne scars and stuff.  if I see a lot of blemishes, but I am nonetheless attracted to her, I'll be much happier and feel much more comfortable talking to her, and feel so much better about my own skin.  if she appears to have near-perfect skin I usually avoid talking to her or even looking at her because it will just remind me of my own issues and seriously depress me.  actually, I avoid even entering places where girls with good skin are likely to hang out.  there was this one coffeeshop with a regular with very clear skin, who acted like she was attracted to me or whatever, and I can't go there anymore
