Just played the demo and it rocks. I couldn't figure out how to jump to the finish line without missing or getting hit by spikes at the top on the roundabout challenge though.

First level has brought me more enjoyment than all I played of Braid. Best $10 I've spent in a long time. Blow should feel ashamed for charging $15 for his glossed up flash game.

I downloaded the Braid demo and although I was a bit confused on stage 4, the rest of it seemed pretty decent, if eerily reminiscent of Mario. Surprised at the hate. Downloading Bionic Commando the minute I get home though. Does it still have "experience" like the NES game? I used to grind a whole ton in the NES one, but I never beat that game.

For a game that is stored completely on the hard drive, Bionic Commando has some freaking wicked load times. Even loading up the bland VR levels seems to take forever.

Wow, this game is stupid hard. I made it to the first boss and I managed to get his health half way down, but I couldn't do anything to him after that. Now I have to play through the entire oil refinery again.

I don't think it sucks. The graphics are fantastic and everything animates nice, I just think the controls are a little rough and it is super difficult.

Well they do have point cards on sale at Target, but seriously for all that you're getting with the package $10 is a hell of a good deal. This game will probably not go on sale any time in the next couple of years. This isn't one of your average cheapy, quicky games that usually plague XBLA.

The animation is very nice in this. Lots of attention to detail everywhere. Also switching to Control Layout C did wonders to my swinging ability.

Arrrgg, this game fucking rocks. It's just like the NES version except they redesigned a few parts. Specifically the Albatross battle, which is now an actual entire stage. The new Albatross stage is owning me so hard.

pretty simple puzzle games. there's a ball and you need to get it to the goal. can't think of anything to compare it to, but it feels familiar. it was in the demo, too..

The tunnel levels make me want to hurl the controller at a wall -- these weren't in the original were they? Do you have to complete them to get to the end of the game?

Not that I know of, although the bottom tunnel gets you the secret dossier which gives you hints to where weapon powerups and the shinjujubeans or whatever they're called are at. The top tunnel gives you the helmet.
