Well Dofla is a pretty major antagonist whose been built up for like 10 years in the manga, so his arc was always going to be sizeable. We're definitely getting to the endgame though. Pretty much expect nothing but fights and running and action for the rest of the arc.

Oh shit, Oda has an abscess on his tonsils and is getting his tonsils removed. That is a nasty thing at an older age (I know because I've never gotten mine out and I used to get tonsil infections once or twice a year and they were like "nah, surgery is a bad idea").

Hope he's ok. Have a feeling the break may be longer than 2 weeks. I was told recovery is a bitch with that.

Plus at this points its more about Luffy building up a fleet of allies instead of a crew I think.

Latest chapter is cute but all this delaying the real deal is definitely hurting the pacing. Don't start the main fight if you're gonna cut away for a while and show everyone else's stuff.

that's what usually happens. Though OP filler is usually just expanding the story as it goes instead of adding in non-cannon stories.
