The new Nickelback song is catchy. Shut up, that band is a guilty pleasure.

I've also come to the conclusion that of all the stuff Bjork did, Homogenic is the best album she put out. Biophilia sounds good and sciency, maybe she could explain to the Insane Clown Posse how those fucking magnets work!

As-is, though, my top three albums of the year are Born This Way, Hot Sauce Committee Volume 2, and Gold Cobra.

this is a really frustrating record. there's a wealth of great material but so much filler. if you consider pre and post Nicolas Fromageau different bands then without the chaff it'd definitely rank alongside Before the Dawn Heals Us.
