Anyone here have Table Top Simulator? Want to try out a game I'm helping make?

I'm working with a small team during Covid on a fantasy card game for kids (10+) that is based on learning how to deal with anxiety. It's inspired by Munchkin and the goal is to eventually have a physical deck to purchase, but right now it's fully playable on TTS and we'd love to get input from people on it, even if you don't have kids. If you're interested shoot me a message and I'll give you info on how to access it from the TTS Workshop. Takes about 30 minutes to play. If you're already friends with me on Steam, I made a post with the info about it yesterday on my wall, too.

The gameplay trailer for this looked rather disappointing.   I guess that over the shoulder perspective rules out local co-op.  :goty :goty2

I loved the PS2 Dark Alliance games back in the day, but they don't hold up well. This new game is probably fun in co-op too.

Grabbed this tonight, although it looks kinda rough, I’ve dumped so many hours into rimworld, another one man post apocalyptic rimworld-like for 10 bucks seemed ok. The guy seems to update it pretty regularly too.

I wonder how many of these games being shown this week are actually good and not just scooped up by algorithms and end up being asset flips or something.

City of gangsters looks kind of good but I want more of a Mafia Rimworld/Dwarf Fortress game and not so much a Prohibition Tycoon one

the same indie arseholes moaning about customers being able to leave bad reviews being the ones stopping them making millions of dollars, are the same indie arseholes who moaned when Steam implemented a refund system which would stop them making millions of dollars, are the same indie arseholes who moaned about too many asset flips being the reason their $20 gamemaker retro styled pixel art puzzle platformer stopped them making millions of dollars.

As game dev becomes more and more available to the masses through free engines and easier to use languages, indie devs will face what authors and artists have faced in their fields where the barrier to entry is only a pen and paper. That being maybe your game idea just isn’t that good / original when it comes down to it. And now everyone and their grandmother is making a game (if they want to).

I pretty much just sorta my wishlist by steam reviews at this point and only grab stuff that is overwhelmingly positive.

Also I'll add stuff to my wishlist I'd never have had any interest in if I see the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

There was a thing a few years back where people were releasing meme games that had thousands of achievements that unlock just for starting the game up, with names like "5000 Achievements in 10 Minutes!"

lol, was randomly checking my steam wishlist and Black Mesa is under $9.99 for the first time ever. $4.99 now. Love Half-life, just didn't feel like buying HL1 again, but at $4.99 I'll pay and give it a run at some point. I wonder if there's any VR mods...

I just want to chime and say it's really annoying that Total War: Warhammer II has both 1) Never dropped below $20 and 2) Doesn't even have a complete edition with all the DLCs included.

I'm not a Total War fan or a Warhammer fan, but both are franchises I've been interested in exploring and looking for an entry level game to get me into them. But been waiting for them to be cheap or in a bundle. I guess with III out soon, they'll finally start discounting II after III is out.

I do have Total War: Warhammer 1, but by the time I got it in some bundle or for dirt cheap everyone said II was so much better that it's not worth touching. I doubt III will make II irrelevant so I guess I'll try II next year or something.

I only like space marines stuff, but havent they set it up in such a way that to have 'all the races' you have to buy the full version number sequels, which are actually more like expansion packs?
