Story might be your average adventure stuff (as if there even was such a thing in games), but the presentation and direction looks crazy awesome. I'd like to think that this and MW2 will set some new standards for others to follow, but that doesn't seem to be how things work.

Uncharted 1 was a B title at best. Many Uncharted 2 reviewers are probably overcompensating now because Sony fans made them feel bad for "overlooking" Uncharted 1.

The truth is that they never overlooked Uncharted 1. It just wasn't that good.

The first Uncharted title was definitely a second tier game. It was nothing special.

DLC is region locked. But I think you can use your cc to buy DLC that matches the game's region. Just buy DLC off the Euro account.

I don't know for sure if that works, though.

I don't mind zombies or other supernatural stuff (especially not when the game has a mythical treasure theme), I just hope that if there are any such elements, that they are better implemented than they were in Uncharted.

Yeah, I didn't really mind the zombies either. Run and gun simply feels more in tune with a Tombraider-like action-adventurer than cover and shoot.

I am at least slightly disgusted that they're throwing stupid monsters into the game again. Once the mutant/zombie/whatever things in Uncharted 1 started coming after you the game took a turn for eh. After they were gone everything went back to being good though.
