I like how Breaking Bad doesn't skirt the tough shit, like dragging some arc for a horrible amount of time. Its like an hour long worth of real talk.

the other night I was high I popped in the first season of Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law. Finished watching it the next morning.

I've decided that Harvey Birdman is my favorite animated show of all time. THE greatest. It was near the top anyways, but my goodness. The voices, the writing, the LAW, I fucking LOOOOOVE it.

I hated Peanut sooooo much. He completely ruins the show.

Why? :(

Because he's obnoxious.

Decided I'm going to go through X-Files. Its one show I've liked but only watched here and there. Eight Seasons is daunting though, I'll probably take breaks from it after each Season.

I just started Breaking Bad.  I'm on the part in episode 2 with the bathtub. :lol this show makes chemistry look so cool.

I wonder how they kept it going for two seasons now though.  Each episode has a lot of content.

The Office goes downhill kinda fast, but it's still interesting due to the characters. It never gets old watching Michael fuck shit up

On the other hand, I watched some random new 30 Rock episodes on hulu and wow, pretty bad. Everything is so forced.

24 is getting ridiculous in terms of how many recycled plot devices used in succession this season, but it's pretty interesting. Last three episodes have been damn good

I'll watch the new Lost ep tonight

It was this episode about a scientist who looks like a bat I think(been a while) who spreads disease and the professor sacrifices himself and what ever.

I thought it was mediocre, thats it. Not horrible, but nothing to be hyped about.

You gotta approach it like X-Files. When a Monster of the Week episode is on, you'll either like the episode or not. With that said, the show is definitely intriguing, you gotta' hit it up from the beginning.

I don't wanna take the X-files/Fringe comparison too far, other than if you dug the Monster of the Week formula Fringe might have something to offer you, but one thing I like about it is how Olivia is almost charmingly bland in a similar way that Mulder and Scully were.

Having just picked up the show recently, I can certainly agree with that. But it does get much better (even though they could have easily cut out almost half of the episodes) and the end of season 1 is such a shit brix surprise that it made up for any shortcomings. Not sure if you're into Lost, but I tried and I can't get into it, but I found myself liking this show. Maybe that comparison will work

I picked up the first four seasons of Its Always Sunny this week. The show is pretty hilarious, with my fave being Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom so far. The characters are very true to life

I wonder if anybody can help me with this.

Was anybody here a viewer of Adult Swim when it first started? I'm trying to hunt down this video that I remember playing before like the first Space Ghost episode, where it was just the guys behind Adult Swim having this conference. Not sure if it was Adult Swim guys or if it was serious or important/entertaining, I just remember it so clearly and yet I never understood what they were talking about.

I'd love to see this video again but I have no idea what so search for. Maybe someone who was older when they saw that has a clearer memory of what exactly it was, but I can't recall more than just a video of some dudes at a conference as a lead-in to a Space Ghost episode, and I'm pretty sure Mike Lazzo was in it.

Still going through Fringe season one. Just watched "Killer App" or something with the computer virus which liquified brains. It was the first one that really stood out as a complete monster of the week episode, and I was a little sad  to feel something outside the continuity they'd been establishing with DHS/Massive Dynamics/other-big-badguys. After the bit where Mitchell Loeb and his wife; that was a really good ep, and the computer virus one was on par with a bad ep of X-Files.

This is my TV schedule so far (since I'm taking a brief break from film at the moment)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 2

I know, I know. It's trash TV, but I like it somewhat. Honestly it's getting to the point it's so distinguished mentally-challenged it's funny. Plus there were a few touches so far in this season that reminded me of the better episodes of Firefly. It's a time waster.

X-Files Season 5

I'm rewatching the X-Files seasons and planning to see the newest movie (even though it probably sucks). I'm a fan of the show but I don't really remember too much of it other than key episodes. It's fun to relive the series, even though seasons one and two have HORRIBLE DVD transfers. I'm about to start season five after finishing Buffy. I'm also curious as to how bad the series gets in the last three seasons. I seemed to find enough motivation to keep watching up until season nine, where I just sorta lost interest. I'm interested enough to see just how bad they are.

Lost season 2 (along with season 6)

I'm rewatching Lost mainly to see if I can notice anything that links the older seasons to the newer ones. So far I've seen a lot of stuff in season one but not in season two that relates to season 6. I usually just watch this if I can't find anything else on.

I'm also watching the Ultimate Fighter this season because I have finally grown to accept that the WWE will continue to suck for a long, long time and I should just watch real people really beating the shit out of each other. I've also decided to watch the rest of the final season of 24 when it hits blu-ray. If 24 is bad enough that I can't watch it, they've reached new lows.

Edit: Oh yeah, I'm watching STEVEN MOFFAT'S DOCTOR WHO WHICH IS FULL OF ASSKICK AND WIN.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
For the last episode, I really don't know what Walter's wife is thinking.  If she's doing this for revenge or if she really just doesn't love him anymore.

Also, the previews of next week's episode seems to imply that Jesse and Walt are going to be cooking again which doesn't really make sense for either of them.

Maybe Gustavo or Tuco's cousins are putting pressure on them?

Man, X-Files Season 1 has quite a quality jump about 2/3rds the way through. It goes from hokey 90's feel to feeling a little more modern (and bloody too). Also, theres a few people from Twin Peaks in the first season, is that just a coincidence?
