Just a heads up TRU (toysrus) is giving away a promotional Halo Reach card each week for the next 5 weeks. This week's card give's you 10 dollars off any Xbox 360 game. If you happen to find some $9.99 games you might be able to get them for free with the collectible card. You can get multiple games per transaction and the barcode only has to be scanned once in order to take off the discount.

I was able to get a few games for free or cheap today:

Wanted
Fracture
Stranglehold
Qubed
Condemned 2
Wet ($9.99)
Red Faction Guerrilla ($8.98)

This card is good till the 21st, I thought it might be worth it for some of you that want some cheap games.

yeah but its still good to get some games that are cheap even cheaper as it works on clearance as well. not every store has signs up, and at that not all employee's notice everything. Hell some of the games I got for free had price tags of $19.99.

OH YOU GOT FRACTURE, we'll have to get together on some multiplayer or something.

the funny thing is I don't think you can pirate these games even if you didn't take the higher moral ground.  It is the ubisoft always connected DRM.

Another heads up with TRU. All games that are clearance are 30% off this along with the $10 off Xbox 360 games have made it time to clean out TRU. Both offers stack tomorrow is the last day to get what you can.

I've made out like a bandit, this is just $35 bucks! and I got a few other games as well great damn deal.

Well tomorrow is the last day to use Week 1's card. All you need to do is ask for the Halo Reach Promotional Card. They might give you next week's but the one you want is name Emile. Then just look for games that end with .98 or .00 and you'll get an additional 30% off those games. The card is only good towards 360 games and like I said tomorrow is the last day. Your store might give you BS about preordering or that you can't use the card on games less than $10 but thats bullshit!

Good luck though!

Mind keeping an eye out for The Orange Box too? I know its not clearance but I've been trying to track it down and for 10 bucks its worth it. I'd be more than happy to pay you for it if they have it.

Ok so I went to the store. They had some Dirt 2.. I didn't grab any. They had some other random ones. I picked up Tekken 6, Saboteur, and Scene It. But they gave me the giant 4-controller pack instead of Box OFfice Smash (which I wanted). Scene It was only $4. I left because I was fine getting the 4 controller bundle... lol

distinguished mentally-challenged fellow edit: Turns out I'm a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow and they are a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow as well. They placed BOS as "Scene It" while they actually labele BOS as "Scene It 2"

Got Box OFfice Smash but since it was more than Scene It I had to eat a $3.50 difference. Oh well, gotta get some Krome love.

Decided to not bother with any flips. By the time I get to GameStop everyone will have traded theirs in and the value will drop a lot.

SO in a nutshell:

Fracture (x2): $0 (before they got wind of this glitch)

Tekken 6: $7.49
Saboteur: $3.29
Scene It BOS (w/ 4 pads): $7.49

* BTW I just thought I should mention that I STILL wouldnt buy Brutal Legend even @ $1 :lol FUCK TIM SCHAFER

It's actually not that hard to find a game on Brutal Legend (if you play during the day at least). You'll probably wind up playing against the same people a few times but it's not completely dead just yet.

Honestly, I wish it were dead, that way I'd be able to easily boost the multiplayer achievements and 1000 it. :P

It is a good experience, but a fairly mediocre game filled with Eastern European jank.  STALKER 2 could consoleize the entire gameplay mechanics and it would turn out to be a better game (assuming they kept the same atmosphere)  $10 for 2 games isn't a bad deal, though.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised. My ass was so badly kicked when I played online that I'd only be able to play with fellow mediocre players. I wish online 'cheevs were more about "competing 100x" rather than "winning 100x" - and while I'm at it, fuck Red Dead Redemption's "three/four consecutive wins" Achievements right in their ear.

I wonder if buying the DLC would make it easier to boost; that way you could select the DLC maps and have more of a chance of getting a fellow borito boosting...?

Yeah, the DLC makes boosting pretty easy, but I'd rather not buy it. Between BlazBlue DLC and upcoming XBLA games I already need to buy another points card or two, no room to spare for Brutal Legend. Thankfully you 'only' have to win 50 games for the online achievement, so it doesn't take that long to get. I think I'm half way there.
