One thing worth mentioning about the real mega buster, is that you need to get an ending once you kill all 54000 zombies. If you just die and end the game that way... no mega buster for you.

I learned that the hard way.

thanks for the heads up! (and ouch for you!) I actually just started on my genocider/mega buster run. If you just let he 72 hours run out thats an ending right? Its been ages since I last played this game.

Up to 12k zombies dead so far but its getting late and Im getting bored. I'll do this in a few play sessions I think... but getting 12k was relatively painless so I'll get there pretty quick.

After this it'll be the Saint/Transmissionary/Full Set run, the hardest run of all apparently.

Firing this up again.... well the memories are great. But its especially good re-discovering what a fucking masterpiece of contemporary game design this is. Easily in the top 5 games for 360, perhaps the best?

I hate to one of these forum guys (actually Im cool with it but whatever): If you didnt like this game, you just didnt 'get it'. Or you were a limp dick diaper baby who couldnt handle a real game

I think if you let the time run out you get an ending, but I really can't remember. You might have to be at the helipad at the end of the 72 hours or something.

It's strange how when this gen started and games were all "next-gen" compared to the cream of the crop PS2 titles, it seemed as though there was no way they'd become dated like those launch-year PS2 titles. Bebpo is totally wrong, truly great games dont date. Dead Rising is just as good now as it ever was.

And this race to 1000 is going to own! DR2 comes out in August so we've got a couple of months.

Going for 7 day survivor is going to be HILARIOUS (I think). I will bunker down with chips, energy drinks and beer for later on. Will have to tell my friends I aint going to the strip club that night

Make sure to hook a hose up to your pee-pee and run it out the nearest window so you can tinkle.

FWIW, I booted up Crackdown again the other day, and was stunned at how well it holds up. Not only that, the game has start-to-finish drop-in co-op, co-op mission replay, instanced game objects which appear per-user, so each player is not only running around in a shared world, but also in a world which reflects only their level of progress.

Changed cards, they kept charging the old card even though it was OLD and OUTDATED. I kept calling them in the past to cancel gold so I could resubscribe via silver with my new card, but their shitty tech support wouldn't let go of that card info. It took a lot of haggling and bitching to get them to take my fucking card off of Gold. In the mean time, they suspended my account because of the matter until it was cleared, which was bullshit as they were in error.

What a bunch of cunts. Experience made me so jaded I didn't want to give MS another dime to pay for online.

Would be a lot easier if you can change your credit card info on your 360 itself, but of course you can't, because MS are cunts and you have to do it the hard way.

I removed my card with no hassle myself when my Gold was about to be renewed a year or so ago. Just said I wanted to go to pre-paids instead.

They added the remove feature to the Xbox.com site a while ago, yes. But it only works if it's not attached to a current Gold subscription, I think.

I'm 99.999999% sure it marks the items you need to find on your map (except for the queens).
