I thought Fable 2 was an ok game at the time, I wouldn't mind getting something new from that universe.

Microsoft has this shitty tendency of killing off projects and studios only to try and resurrect them down the road. I wonder if we'll see Scalebound make a comeback a few years from now, only from a western studio. $:-\$

Fable didn't really do anything better than any other series. It didn't have better characters or locations. yeah, the open world choice stuff was pretty good. But there's loads of games that got parts of that way better in other series. Certainly not the combat or level design. It's one of those games that was the only one in town doing what it tried back then. But it's been outdone in almost every way. Can't see why you'd try to bring it back. The audience is niche and the brand brings a lot of baggage with it.

Name recognition, I guess. They probably feel more comfortable resurrecting a known brand (even with the baggage) than try something new. Also according to the article, Microsoft was impressed by Horizon.

Oh I agree. I never played 3 but everything novel about 2 has been done much better since then in other games. I doubt the Fable titles have aged well.

Will they actually finish the fucking game instead of just shipping out whatever to meet a deadline this time? 2 had a few obvious points where some shit was missing and 3 even more so. Maybe with Molyneux out of the picture it can be done right, but he was the main dude behind the series so is it even Fable without him?

I remember wooing the sexy (?) gypsy from the next wagon over and boinking her within the first few minutes of the ...second game, I think. While her husband was watching. Then I farted a few times in his face and he liked me again. That's when I knew I had a great game on my hands.

Can't wait for more prerelease website app unlock bullshit. I don't think I ever got the rewards for fucking around with that crap.

But whatevs. Maybe it'll be more complete and less hyped-to-death without Peter M. It's worth a shot.

It’s got the fake breathing on you and rumble and stuff going on, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it pop up in a Dave and busters. They already have some incredibly lame struggle clones of House off The Dead.

Metal Gear Survive beta is actually fun as hell and I'm shocked. Mowing down zombies with a Walker Gear is all kinds of satisfying.

I don't think I'll buy it right away but I might pick it up for $20 when it eventually goes on sale.

They are including first party games in game pass on launch day, starting with sea of thieves.

Of course, most of their first party games are just bad now, and there’s so few of them it’s hard to get too excited.

If you subscribe to Game Pass then this is a good thing. You get a free new release. If you don't subscribe to Game Pass this is useless.

You can subscribe for 1 month of Game Pass and get to play the new release cheaper than buying the game retail.

Final Fantasy 12, brehs.

New Game - mode from the start on the PC version. Basically making you 122333 run mode without having a Ribbon (to stop EXP gain) taking up your accessory slot.

Having to throw potions as AoE damages and poisons hit.

Changes the game up quite a bit. People complaining about "muh gambits" need to play with this mode and having to juggle 3-4 (with Zodiac HD's guest control) party members and healing.

It was a long time ago, but i remember the old dude from twin galaxies being way tge fuck up billy Mitchell’s ass. They treated him as if he was some mix of the fonz, Fabio, and like... someone known for getting s lot of pussy in the 80s (no names come to mind since I was a child then).
