No, it was bought by an American company that was focused on Korean targeted games and later also bought Hawken, it seems it was sold in 2018 to another company in California, who continues to own the current game but sold the APB IP to a company in Hong Kong:

In retrospect they obviously should have included more concepts from Crackdown in it. Like imagine all the low level players running around as it is but then high level players are like doing Crackdown shit in the same world. Some of the superhero MMOs like Champions Online and DC Universe Online have aspects of this but I think people would really love a game with superheroes as a Snyder-like force in an otherwise "realistic" GTA open world. Obviously this failed when Star Wars Online tried to restrict Jedi powers to select people initially but there's probably a good way to do it rather than how that game did.

Like you and your bros are doing a heist attack on some other gang and some Superman like jerk is just flying by and decides to intervene which fucks everything up.

I got Wanted: Dead on Steam (because of the return policy!) and just played it for an hour. I liked what I played enough to keep it. The game seems pretty fun to me and as promised, reminds of something from the PS3/360 era. It's jank and the story is dumb, but I've enjoyed the firefights and running around slashing up enemies. On normal it doesn't feel as hard as Ninja Gaiden did to me, but you can still die in 2-3 hits if a blade-wielding enemy attacks and you don't counter in time. They will also swarm you given the chance.

I don't mind restarting a section after dying (they do give you two chances plus you have health packs), but the game not saving upgrades you do, if you die, is pretty dumb.

Seems a 4K remaster of the old ass Pharaoh game is getting released today. Good year for gaming so far. I can just replay old shit. Dead Space, Metroid Prime: Remaster and now this Pharaoh game. The System Shock remake is supposed to be out this year.

Give me a remastered Thief 1 and 2 with raytracing please.

Got to looking up next gen Gundam games. Nature of the industry is every game is some multiplayer service game or mash up. No grounded one year war types.

In the search I learned people revisited Gundam Target in Sight/Crossfire. The PS3 launch game that ran at 15 fps. Everybody said it was trash. Could be an any port in the storm deal, but now people are saying it’s not bad? Most are emulating it to get past the frame rate hang up. Tempted to try it out.
