The blur in GoW3 is awesome. I dunno if it's better than Crysis, but it's one of the best uses of motion blur I've seen. Completely destroys the blur Capcom uses his gen.

It would be weird if it wasn't. It's probably best to hold off on getting DSiware games since they're locked to the hardware. I want Shantae, X-scape, and that Castlevania rip, but I'll hold off until I get the 3DS.

also, Ape Escape PS3/Move briefly shown (two seconds) and it looks like a light gun/net monkey catching game

I was hoping for another platformer.

Just stick to the main story missions and you won't get into the repetitive stuff. It's only about 6 hours long that way and the story and atmosphere are pretty awesome (I preferred AC1's setting over AC2's). You will have no idea what's going on in the sequel if you don't play the AC1 first though.

As long as he avoids the side-missions and quick-travels everywhere, I don't see any problem with the repetition. If he doesn't play the first one though, he'll have no idea what is going on.

I agree with Slime's points but I still think AC1 is worth playing for at least the first couple of hours. The feel of running around in "Kingdom of Heaven" is pretty cool.

You bought it, you can play it with no hassle; it's a good game on its own, especially if you don't get hooked into grinding out some of the completionist crapola like full-DNA-chain or flags.

if there's one thing we've learned about Nintendo it's that they can't support 2 systems at once.

Once the Wii finally started picking up in software last year -> this year, the DS pretty much died in new software. 3DS will kill Wii support eventually.

That looks really good. The combat looks cool. It looks nice visually too even though I'm not a fan of the style.

It's good to know that I won't be playing this game like I probably won't be playing Xenoblade or Tales of Graces

At least bring this stuff to Europe translated and let me import it.

I don't think it has been a big problem in the past. The 3DS is probably going to cause more problems because it is almost as powerful as the Wii, or somewhere around that.

I don't see how you can Vesperia has dull combat when praising Abyss'. Remember FOFS? Well of course you don't, because they never work! Vesperia's battle system is superior simply because of not only the variety, but also how the battle system is paced. You learn a new skill or new way to kick ass every few hours.

And Vesperia's gang/clan story was neat. Cast is better than everything in Abyss too. Everyone in Abyss is annoying except Tear and what's his face when his hair finally gets cut.

Judging from the teaser pics from the latest Forza Motorsport 3 DLC, it looks like the McLaren MP4-12C is going to be added to the game.

Now all the game needs is the Lexus LFA and Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, and some classic cars like the Porsche 917, Chevy Nova, Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda and Superbird, and the non-whale-tail McLaren F1, and it'll be perfect.

They still have the Forzalopnik DLC that's probably next month now.

Aside from that, I hope the Forza 3 DLC is compatible with Forza 4.

What I was thinking of is that the game detects your game save, imports the liveries and VIP cars you collected through the storefront and the VIP gifting, then detects the DLC and adds those cars to your garage at the start.
