Jerking it to Bowsette isn't weird anymore because now there's a live action version on pornhub.

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/02/02/bazblue_cs2_screens/even tough i'm not really a fighting game guy,i played blazblue on the psp and i kinda liked it in a "BOOBIE LADY!" kinda way
Buying whichever version comes out first (JP/US) will buy both if they have separate achievements.
Quote from: duckrollFrom the way the director says it, it sounds like it will only be harder for a certain set of players though. What he said is that their approach to difficulty is the same as Demon's Souls, and that he wants players to feel a sense of accomplishment when they finally overcome something which they previously felt was really hard. But he says that to truly achieve that aim, there are now no options or choices that will specifically make the game less challenging. So the game is harder than Demon's Souls. My interpretation here is that what he is indirectly referring too would be the various cheese tactics for certain bosses in the original game, as well as stuff like playing as Royal and using Soul Arrow to make the initial parts of the game much easier. By removing these options and forcing players to more carefully consider how they can overcome the odds with skill and preparation instead of just picking an easier play style, the overall game will probably be seen as harder.I should have never doubted From. True sequel to the Game of the Generation, babby.

I'll be clapping when it bombs. Gaming should never be arduous unless the person buying the game wants it to be. If I ever needed to play a game to feel accomplished, I'll probably just shoot myself.

You know the Japanese 360 situation is bad when publishers don't even bother releasing completed games on it.
Like the Xbox, it's the chicken or egg question again for MS. Did the small userbase cause the lack of games or is it the other way around? It's hard to tell since a MS console will probably never receive consistent and equivalent to Sony support from any Jap developer other than Capcom.
I hate it when Sony keeps making sequels for franchises that most people don't give a shit about
Quote from: Great Rumbler on February 02, 2011, 01:41:20 AMNo kidding. They give two sequels to Killzone and Resistance, but not a single sequel for Rogue Trip? A tragedy. Can't imagine why Sony would be responsible for making a sequel to an Atari game.

Quote from: maxy on February 02, 2011, 04:41:18 AMdidn't Demon Souls sell like 160k in Japan? Some 360 games are even higher than that, making a retail sequel for 360 in Japan would not be a wise thing to do220k, counting best hits. That puts it 12k above the highest selling 360 game (Star Ocean 4, which was released nearly two years ago). The main issue isn't so much whether or not a DS sequel is a draw in general, it's that 360 software sales have rolled over and died. The last time a 360 game broke 200k was two years ago, and only one title (Monster Hunter) has broken 100k in the last year. Heck, in the last two years, only four games have broken 100k (the other two are RE5 and Bayonetta). I would say, at this point, the active game-buying 360 userbase is under 50k. Companies would reach a wider active audience with a Famicom game.

Quote from: Smooth Groove on February 02, 2011, 01:10:33 PMWOW wasn't released in Japan? I remembered hearing from expats in another forum about playing WOW in Japan. That's just weird because I'm almost certain that Blizzard even brought WOW to Hong Kong, which is a much smaller market. Those expats must have been playing on another region's version. WoW has never been released in Japan. China and South Korea, yes, Japan, no. Blizzard has an amazingly bad reputation among Japanese gamers thanks to their no-assed localizations of earlier titles, so that may be why Blizz has been gun-shy to release in Japan.

Oh, I don't think so. I think if you asked them which is better out of FFXI and WoW the average Japanese gamer would say FFXI is terrible and what the fuck is Wow.Can't really blame them for not choosing a game that has never been released in their country, can you?
Holy fuck at the Dark Souls trailerThis is going to be the best game of all time.
I just hope it's not coop required. Should still be an awesome solo game like the first. I never did any of the real-time coop in the first.
See demi, Dark Souls is the kinda game I'd get on launch.

Damn console is still number one in on-going sales in herpaderp North America and Europe.

Quote from: maxy on February 02, 2011, 10:00:22 AMYeah it looks like only elite hardcore has stayed on 360 in Japan. Not even them, really. The elite hardcore have for all intents and purposes moved to the PS3 for their console needs. The active 360 audience at this point is made up of foreigners, westaboos, Cave shooter fans, and skeevy visual novel creeps.

So... iconoclastloool
I hate it when Sony keeps making sequels for franchises that most people don't give a shit about but at the same time, MS is just as annoying with their tendencies to give up quickly on franchises that don't instantly bring in cash, like Banjo, Project Gotham, Viva Pinata, Rallisports, etc. They even gave up on one of the best RTS makers ever after just 1 mediocre Halo game which they weren't even suited to make.
Cave shooter fans
I'm guessing that PS3 is the lead platform for Dark Souls? There was a time when From used 360 as the lead but that was a long time ago. Maybe Blizzard should let another publisher release it for them in Japan? With the MH craze still going strong in Japan, it's not hard to believe that WOW can pick up another 1/2 million subscribers there.

Yeah, it's never been released "in Japanese" nor had an official Japanese launch. The only Japanese people playing it are navigating it in another language's UI, which you can imagine is a subset of the total potential audience. Blizzard has probably done an ROI and found it lacking -- but it's not like Japanese publisher haven't tried to bring it to Japan. They have. Blizzard just isn't interested.
